No indication when it will actually be released… It's coming at just about the same time HL: Episode 2 shows up. |

| Silent Storm was developed by Nival, the studio is still up and running last I checked and far as I know, the IP belongs to them. |

| Some rather popular website or something decided to concentrate on single games instead of spreading out, "The Wonderful End of the World" was the first game in the list for some reason. |

They do not belong. Welcome to the year 2011, a time of joy when you can build a fight stick for about 50 bucks worth of components or buy a pre-made wireless one for about 70, and connect your PC to a 50 inch TV using a cable that you can get off Ebay for less than it'll cost to have it shipped to you.
Hint: Anything that can be plugged into a 360 for use in controlling games can be plugged into a Windows 7 PC and it'll magically work, anything *wireless* for the 360 only needs a 20 dollar dongle and it'll work on a PC.
Seriously, sometimes "X does not belong in Y" comments are warranted, this simply isn't one of those times. |

I played and completed this game back when it was originally released, just the other day I got an urge to play through it again and figured it was a good time to go see what good mods there were available at Fallout Nexus for me to install.
Holy hell, the Elder Scrolls (And I guess by extension, the post Fallout 3 games) have some amazingly dedicated community support, I'm guessing a number of developers would just about murder for this kind of interest. |

Vazz wrote on Apr 6, 2011, 15:34: How about putting that money into a bigger team that can bring updates faster. Or at least put most of the already made creature mods into the vanilla game. This game has tons of potential but updates are slow and haven't been adding much. Notch only needs to add proper mod support to the game, which might be tricky due to its reliance on Java.
My dream mod support for the game would be a situation where mods will work the same withing a single or multiplayer setting, that mods can coexist with each other by intelligently patching in the necessary changes to the original file instead of the mess of replacing source files with modified ones, thus overwriting mods that modify the same source files, this could be accomplished via a simple built in mod loader. The client would also have an option within the menus to automatically allow servers to send temporary mod patches (Disabled by default, some sort of community driven signing or white listing process would be a good idea here to prevent abuse) and some sort of cache for downloaded art and sound assets so clients don't have to redownload them each time they connect to a server.
Minecraft as it is now is a nice game, especially for those people who have ample amounts of creativity. However it kills me that it could be so much more if Mojang would expand by grabbing people off the community, who are doing a better job at fixing flaws and adding gameplay features than Mojang itself.
Edit: And yes, I'm one of those silly people that couldn't find what the point to this game was. Bought the alpha on a whim when I didn't have anything to do, and now that I *do* have other things to do I can't do them because I can't stop playing this blasted game. |

About the game itself, one of my biggest gripes with Dirt 2 outside of the half-a-sim thing everyone here has already mentioned was that I spent a much larger part of my time staring at menus than I did racing the courses, it was rather inexplicable why the developers allowed this to happen.
A simple "Take me to the next race right the hell now using the same car and settings, I don't want to hear about how Ken Block is now my buddy" button at the end of every course would have been greatly appreciated. |

I don't even have to pre turn the opposite way in Dirt 2, you just need ease off the throttle and take the turn early with a sharp jerk of the wheel towards the turn, that's usually enough to get any of the cars to begin drifting, when you're sliding you then turn the wheel opposite and use the throttle to control the drift.
The only times I needed to flick the opposite direction was on hair pins, but then again I simply prefer to use about a second of e-brake in those situations. |

| I used to play Duke3D in multiplayer all the time as well, but only on co-op set to hardest. I think it only ever supported four players while running in co-op mode. |
