John Carmack is a true bro. A developer who actually gives a shit about his craft and producing quality software (even if the gameplay doesn't quite match its technical excellence).
Looking forward to Rage and the id Tech 4 source release. |

That video is taken from the PC version; they just played it with a 360 controller. The PC version will say "Press Start"? |

He's moving somewhere without Internet access/his parents are taking away his Internet access when school starts?
Re: CiV
$5 DLC civs, busty female leaders, meh. Also, that website looks Bioshock-y. |

Different people like different games. More on this shocking development at 11.
As for it being Final Fantasy (you may already know this) the company was likely going to go under when the first one was being developed. Hence the name. It was a success and kept them going. They in turn kept the name.
Also SE doesn't just do RPGs. They published (may have had more involvement, I don't remember) in SupCom 2 for example. Yes, of course. I'm just mourning about the better games that have gone unplayed and their companies defunct because they didn't sell when tripe like this does.
FFXIII sales have got to make up the majority of those posted profits, yeah? |

The game looks terrible (judging from the YouTube clip). Hell, they couldn't even give it a proper title other than the default filename? Half Life 1 era graphics, spray and pray run and gun.
where the proper use of dogs, helicopters, cars, and environments can give teams an advantage over their adversaries. i.e., If you hear dogs bark, or helicopters, you know there's someone out there or the other team just respawned.
It'll be big in PC rooms in Korea and China with lower system reqs and 10 year old game sensibilities, but those of us spoiled by Bad Company 2 and Modern Warfare will probably ignore this completely. |

| Awesome awesome. I love ambient stuff like this (reminds me of Aphex Twin's or NiN's works at times). Hope he'll do this same treatment with the Torment soundtrack. |

Yeah the animations and combat look clunky...I hope it's the Bloodlines type of clunky where it was still oddly satisfying.* Lol at the chainshot.
Most good RPG's have terrible trailers so hopefully that's the case here.
*except for the combat heavy endgame...
