Getting tight lug nuts off is always difficult. But if you use your leg to push the tyre iron you can put in far more pressure.

Try putting it as level as possible and just step on it and apply pressure. Don't stomp or anything that could cause it to slip, and obviously do it with some decent shoes (better yet good boots) on.

I've changed 2 tyres, one in 35c heat and the second at night in the rain. Not fun =(

D_K_night you have proof?

I only ask because my friends who play say they can login as the Oceanic Zone or American which they got access to recently but still can't Europe.

From what they told me, you get access to 2 versions of the same game for 2 different regions, which they say means anything you did in your original region doesn't carry across (achievements, titles or whatever).

I hardly called that removed, as you don't get world wide access, only access to one more region at the cost of anything you did in the first couple of months.

Wonder if it has anything to do with Battle.net 2.0? No lan play? and all the suing going on.

Maybe people just aren't interested?

Even a lot of the custom map guys are not impressed with the b.net stuff. I think they were hoping for a better community setup, and chat rooms.

8. Re: New UDK Beta & Unreal Engine 3 Trailer Nov 24, 2010, 17:44 RenownWolf

The tools for UDK are nice, but unreal script is a pain. Rather than use a current scripting language they make their own which becomes useless for anything but their own engine, while other engines use scripting languages that can be reused across the board including software.

Also, pop in textures in all UE3 games is awful, it burns your eyes and kicks your babies!

If you watch the video they are targeting hardcore gamers when they are taking a break from their hardcore games with other games. They have found that the games they tend to play then are F2P games.

So there we have it... they are actually attempting to compete for the gamers time with themselves (he actually said when they aren't playing Bad Company 2 in the video). Insane!

Funnily enough this is excatly what blizzard have been trying to avoid. That's why you won't see a Diablo release with a WoW release or their new MMORPG with a WoW expansion release.

It makes me sad, I quite enjoyed BF2 (except... bugs, hacks, and that FRIGGIN AWFUL GAME BROWSER INTERFACE!).

Yes the price is $39.99 for us Australians with the current exchange rate it's the first time in a long time we get the advantage. Local retailers are asking around $60 per copy, while being about to get it for ~$42 aus is excellent.

I've been buying my games in USD for awhile now, as I find even when the dollar is around 80c to 1USD I can still get it cheaper.

Then again you guys have massive retail competition and can get it cheaper again.

The game is good fun, I suggest everybody give it a go. It's old school top-down, but that's half the fun when you need to decide where in your 360 degree arc you should shoot to save your life, rather than having to do 180 flips trying to see what is infront of and behind you.

Neil the creator is a nice guy too, he will listen to suggestions and do his best if you have a problem =)

They stay in business due to the Corp. world. I don't like PDF format at all, even worse when doing drafting they use to convert from dwf to pdf to plot the drawings... I've spend half my day converting on my pc, then the next half on plotting because it was slower... but that was the system they had in place.

When a section of the project was due for major review (thousands on drawings) being the person who knew how to do it right... I could a spend a whole week doing nothing but converting and printing PDFs. Adobes god awful pdf reader only made my life worse as half the time it crashed, took forever to load and ran like dogs balls.

I really wish they would find an alternative to PDF especially since half of the files are HUGE for nothing but text.

You're still at the top of the food chain. Working at a servo (gas station for y'all americans) has it's... moments.

Last night I almost had a heart attack when a customer exited his vehicle and threw his half finished lit smoke onto the ground near the pump. BAM! I sparks... I thought the end was near, but lucky it was just the ash falling off.

Only a few times have I saw the face of death due to others stupidity, but last night... oh it was a hell of a moment.

Ahh as always the lawyers are the real winners but I am glad to see it didn't just go away without issue.

It was a rather nasty little thing, I imagine more kids will be walking around with a bit of black electrical tape over their webcams now. At least... if they are smart.

Will be better when chat rooms are in and blues people can vs each other. Never understand when 2.0 of something has less then the first version (applies to all updates in life).

Blue rather than a quote of the day maybe a weekly? or a quote of the moment, it being where a quote makes you stand up and take notice rather than adding a quote each day making others of less importance.

Just a suggestion =)

Wonder how many free streams there will be this time?

Though I'm not excatly sure what they will show, SC2 got released, D3 is a fair way off and Cata being in beta means every man and his dog has posted all about it.

Maybe the new MMO this time? Be interesting to see.

In the new i3/5 ones, the gpu is actually on the cpu die. Too bad they are god awful gpus. Trying to program to support them is a massive hole in the head.

Rather sad they undercut nvidia so much in the netbook scene, at least the ion setup could run somethings.

News Comments > Valve Not Working on Linux Steam
5. Re: Valve Not Working on Linux Steam Aug 23, 2010, 14:15 RenownWolf

I'm very close to going Ubuntu, for years linux was behind, but compared to windows 7 it's almost excatly the same. Their app manager is great, their user setup is sweet but the only lacking thing is games support.

It's the chicken and the egg situation though, more support for linux would mean more users, more users for linux would mean more support. That said they have made headways. I should travel all the gaming conventions giving out free Ubuntu discs, even if they start just using them for when windows crashes or gets a virus, it would be a start lol.

I don't finish all games (ones I find boring) but I do finish most games, but they do tend to take some time. This isn't for lack of wanting to finish them, but more I like to have it entertain me over time. More like a TV series, sure sometimes a movie is good, but a TV series is nice and constant. An episode or two will suck but it keeps on going.

I do agree some Final Fantasy games are a bit too long, I've only completed FF6 (SNES) and FF7 (PSX). The others didn't get my interest, yet Legend of Mana (PSX) I have completed multiple times (co-op mode is great fun). Also finished all Halo games on console co-op on the couch. Having the second person motivates me to finish games I think =D

I believe the point is that the length isn't everything, but this most gamers already agreed with so it's not as big as a deal as Cliffski is making it seems.
