Has anyone seen their implementation of Tetris? It's called Not Tetris and the blocks rotate gradually and land awkwardly at the bottom of the screen.
It mimics the old-skool GameBoy screen which is pretty cool! |

Because of this promotion, which has had it's profile raised thanks to this Portal 2 tie-in, I've tried a couple of demos for games that I normally wouldn't and will probably end up buying them. It's nice to see Portal 2 themed content in the games too - the Aperature Science levels for the ball look pretty cool.
If Portal 2 is unlocked slightly earlier because people are encouraged to purchase and support indie developers, surely it can only be a good thing? |

Has anyone suffered the GSoD with the 10.3 drivers? It seems to have cleared up issues with the driver crashing under Win7 x64, however I'm still getting the occasional flicker / grey striped screen for a split second.
Anyone else still having issues? |

On the 360 isn't that because MS requires content to be paid for? I'm certain that I read something in article about the recent expansion having to have a cost to satisfy MS.

I'm surprised that they're not pushing a DX11 graphics card as their recommended setup.
From this I'd guess that the engine is highly scalable, or it's going to be a dog like the engine that powered Dredd vs Death.
I guess we'll see in time... |

FUEL's ok, but my biggest bugbear is that it doesn't really convey the feeling of speed. |

My goodness, was DN3D really 1996? I'm beginning to feel my age now.
I think that perhaps 3DR got a bad deal out of the whole affair. Maybe they thought the Duke Nukem name didn't carry that much weight anymore and perhaps, once it became a laughing stock, they wanted to prove it wasn't. Maybe they got distracted by the nice new shiny engines Id and Epic were putting out and wanted the game to shine as much as possible. Who can blame them in the current world of bland copy and paste shooters?
Hats of to them for self funding a game for 13 years and for having the balls to do so.
Although it became a bit of a laughing stock, I'm a little bit disappointed that I'm never going to be able to lay my hands on a copy of DNF... |

It sure was, and it had the worlds prettiest installer. Does anyone remember it? Looked like something you'd see in a modern spy film...
I was very disappointed when it wasn't in the First Decade - stupid InstallShield.

I've heard all the hype about StarForce, but I've never encountered any of the problems - does it really screw with your machine that much?
On an completely un-related, but on-topic note - how do I preorder this in the UK? I'm dying to lay my hands on a T16.
