You cannot interact with characters on other leagues at all.

For those of you thinking of playing this, I highly recommend starting on hardcore. When your hardcore char dies, he gets put into the non-hardcore league.

This adds quite a bit of frisson to the experience of playing it, especially for the first time in my opinion.

These all sound like good changes, but Path of Exile is my master now.

RIP IN PEACE
I Hope She Dropped Good Loot
Requiescat in Pace or Rest in Peace- in Peace. I like seeing people make that linguistic mistake, to follow an acronym with some of the words encompassed in said acronym. It also happens in the Grand Old Party Party.

This game is more of a successor to Diablo II than d3 is. I am in $50 to them and feel it is worth every penny.

That being said, I am way more interested in hardcore cut-throat when they implement that.

Yeah I have been too.

I think they need to appropriate a couple of the innovations that Riot made with League of Legends though, such as a warning ping, and a line on the map indicating the path your character will take.

I think not making games in one of the most expensive places to live might be a good start.

I didn't realize that we were adding to the list of words that white people cannot say.

Speaking of LOD I am really hoping that the expansion will fix a lot of the problems with D3. It will never make the game have an offline mode, but perhaps they can learn from what did not work in the original and come up with a game that is pleasant to spend time in.

The U.K.'s Entertainment Retailers Association says that the way that they gather data on the overall game market is increasingly irrelevant.

It doesn't lend itself to easy sequels, that is for sure.

I have an idea! They could make it so that it is UNDER WATER for the sequel. Like, aliens terrorizing from the deeps! They don't even have to change anything: Just say it's underwater, remove some buildings and add some kelp. Next!
I am talking about big ideas, not that piddly stuff. If the sequel is underwater like Terror was, it is pretty similar to adding a double-barreled shotgun to Doom and calling it a sequel.

Although I must admit that for this game it annoyed me quite a bit to shoot them down over the ocean and then load up a land assault. Where did that land come from?

It is a great remake, but I wonder about where they could take the game, as what they have made basically rehashes the original with the rough edges smoothed out.

Now that they have gone through the source material, will they be able to come up with something innovative? I very much hope so.

I fully support this decision and hope Bio Infi will be a better game because of it.

I thought the missing health was nice in that it gave the tiniest hint that there were things that went on in the game that didn't revolve around your character. A shred of depth.

I guess it was just a bug.

The only difference during the fundraising drive is that if you buy one of the pledge ships(say, a Hornet fighter) now, that ship will have free insurance(again, just the ship, not extra equipment) and hangar space forever. It's a Thank You to those who pledged money for the game's development.
Is a pledge ship different from a ship you would get from one of the packages such as digital bounty hunter? Because that one says 4 months ship insurance. That sounds like a significantly shorter span of time than forever.

Edit: Whoops you totally did not say it had insurance forever. My mistake!
