I am a recovering wow player as well. Occasionally I feel the pull, but then I just have to remember all the things I did not like about it and am happy to never experience again.

Works like a charm.

This game, like every other game ever made, is not for everyone. You are allowed to not like it.

So what? It is highly unlikely that this is a conscious attempt to copy it and even if it is, all art is derivative. Who gives a swut.

Invisible war was a good game in it's own right though.

I kid. I heard what was going on with that game and avoided it as I would a terrible movie sequel.

I will not encourage people to push out drek.

Apparently, you can get through the first mission of this game without firing at all except for two scripted sequences.

"Call of Duty: Black Ops is the latest game in a series that just keeps getting better."

This from the review from Gaming Heaven.

They really shouldn't give lapsed players 7 days of free play time just when an expansion comes out, as so many people on makes the game have a ton of problems.

'Come back and see us at our worst, so you can remember why you stopped playing!'

I am a huge blizzard fan but they are being complete and utter twits about this. There seem to be very few things you could do to alienate a core fan base more effectively than to do this and to eliminate LAN play.

TV just encourages unhealthy behavior both mentally and physically.
I fully agree that the internet has the capacity to be healthier than TV mentally. However, if you are stating that the internet is better for you physically as well, I would have to say that you are comparing apples and apples.

Precious little interaction involved in my internet use. Nothing that could be construed as healthy activity by any stretch, anyway.

Damn. I misread that as MoonTracker and was looking forward to seeing what the Pentagon wanted with such an ability.

Haven't seen it. Still, pretty awesome that some are experimenting with no region DVDs.

WoW can still be fun after several years in existence and several years of playing.

Not for everybody. I for one am sick to death of it.

Fill in the blank was interesting at first but got boring over time due to repetitive fill in the blank.

But come on, it's Blizzard. They arn't known to screw stuff up, and with a title this big, they arn't going to make changes the fanbase doesn't want.

Seems like a good time to mention the lack of LAN support for Starcraft II at this point.
