Quite a good answer in my opinion. Spot on.
I should amend that by saying that I agree with everything he says in his response that does not refer to personal experience.

This is in answer to the question:

The industry has changed a lot over your time in it. At what point do you feel it went from a fledgling, back-office-based start-up into a more mature industry? Or, indeed, do you think we’ve reached that point yet?
Not that you need to know the preceding question to get what he is driving at, but it does look a little strange taken out of context.

Quite a good answer in my opinion. Spot on.

I can't wait until I can control my PC by waving my arms about after being forced to stand up from behind my desk.

And that would be just to send email. To work in Excel you have to get ridiculous.

It has got to be nearly impossible to make co-op puzzles for this game that are challenging but not impossible to either conceptualize or execute by the people trying to solve them. I wish Valve luck.

I am surprised that Valve has not come out with new skins for Steam. I miss those from the old version.

I thought one game on the Nintendo 64 handled this particularly well:

Goldeneye.

There was no health regen, there wasn't even anything you could pick up to replenish your health. There was armor to be found, but that was it.

Parents are scared to let kids outside and there is great comfort in knowing that your kids are safe in their rooms rather than out on the streets amongst their pot smoking peers, pedophiles and child killers that apparently plague our streets. Like anything, gaming is good in moderation.

Pot smoking, pedophilia and child killing are good in moderation? You could convince me on smoking pot, but the other two would be a tough sell.

It is time for Hulu Doubleplusgood.

Probably cost a lot though.

Pretty ballsy of Hulu to charge for their service and then still show ads in it. I would be way more interested in it if it were commercial free.

15. Re: World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Trial Dec 17, 2010, 13:33 rist3903

Is there seriously someone who owns WoW, Burning Crusade and Lich King and DOESN'T have Cataclysm? This free trial seems aimed at a subset of WoW fan that quite likely simply doesn't exist...

Creston

I own WoW and all the expansions but Cataclysm. This free trial is aimed at me. If only I were interested.

I enjoyed WoW for a long time, but it lost it's luster for me. I cannot imagine that an MMO could come out that would be of any interest to me now. You have ruined me for all others, Blizzard.

I am a recovering wow player as well. Occasionally I feel the pull, but then I just have to remember all the things I did not like about it and am happy to never experience again.

Works like a charm.

This game, like every other game ever made, is not for everyone. You are allowed to not like it.

So what? It is highly unlikely that this is a conscious attempt to copy it and even if it is, all art is derivative. Who gives a swut.

Invisible war was a good game in it's own right though.

I kid. I heard what was going on with that game and avoided it as I would a terrible movie sequel.

I will not encourage people to push out drek.
