Is there something wrong with me? Are you still enjoying yourself with the game? If so, who gives a damn? |

| Ditto, I got the CE with this sale and I messed around with it a bit. It's certainly a time waster. |

Leave the game industry behind immediately, CGI artists!
Yeah with all the campaign levels the beta testers got to try out, it's a real shame that these CG artists got screwed.

Ok here are my initial impressions. It should be noted that I've been a fanatical fan of Disciples 2 since that was released, so this title has a LOT to live up to for me.
The graphics are pretty good. The devs did a decent job of trying to make this game have 3d versions of the original artworks that the earlier games have. The music was surprisingly better than I thought it would be, none of this cheery nonsense you see in a lot of other fantasy settings. The fact that this game doesn't have the dwarves or undead is just criminal, so that's a massive strike against it.
The gameplay feels a little clunky and linear. I'll need to play it more to see if I just need to get used to it, or if it just sucks. The recruitment seems pretty standard fare compared to D2, which is not a bad thing. City development was pretty easy as well, allowing easily accessible information on capital upgrades and development. The combat was a little confusing, I'll need to get into more battles to figure out whats going on there.
Cliffs: While not quite a true Disciples game, it's the closest you're going to get for a long, long time.
A word of warning to anyone who uses dual monitors. You won't be able to scroll with the mouse as it will just go into your second monitor. To get around this, just use WASD, as those buttons scroll (faster than the mouse IMO) just as well.
EDIT: Okay I really wish the characters would shut up during combat. I swear they spend more time talking than they do fighting.
