I read somewhere that it's seamless.

edit -- "If there wasn't already a terrifying amount of world in Elite Dangerous, well, wave goodbye to that small sliver of your social life not spent in a cockpit. The first part of the space sim's second season of expansions will let you fly seamlessly to the the surface of planets and land."

Here.

There's no annual subscription. The free upgrade is for life on the device that is upgraded.

Or advertising a card as "King of the Hill" and then deliver a molehill mountaineer.

They need to STFU and just get better at their own game.

They make one hell of a mudslinger though.

I've been thinking of moving back to an X-Fi. My old one died a few months ago. One thing I like is you can force hardware sound for about 95% of the games out there using ALchemy in Win 8.1. Will need to check if *that* still works in Win 10.

So what happens when you upgrade too much hardware in your PC and it no longer recognizes it as the original PC that you upgraded from?

From: Win 10 FAQ

"Once you’ve upgraded to Windows 10 using the free upgrade offer, you will be able to reinstall, including a clean install, on the same device. You won’t need a product key for re-activations on the same hardware. If you make a meaningful change to your hardware, you may need to contact customer support to help with activation. You’ll also be able to create your own installation media like a USB drive or DVD, and use that to upgrade your device or reinstall after you’ve upgraded. "

If you're using the ISO I've read that running the setup from within your current OS takes care of the needing a Win 10 key during install (wouldn't mind someone confirming that).

After you get Win 10 installed you make a recovery edition to a USB or DVD that has your product key embedded in it and you can do a clean install from there and still not have to enter a key (so using any method you have to do an express install the first time).

You can get your Win 10 key once it's loaded using SIW and just use the key if you ever change enough hardware that it asks for it during install.

Also if you use a Win 7 / 8.1 home edition to run the Win 10 installer you get the home edition. Use a pro edition and you get Win 10 pro. Got that info from an official MS page somewhere.

What exactly is the conspiracy theory at play here, anyway? Bethesda is lying about the number of units they can produce of a sold item so....? They can give the factory workers the weekends off?

Now, as far as 'canon' discussions. It is the choice of a SW product creator to choose the old fiction or new. The old simply has to be labeled as 'Legends.' Also, KOTOR is basically part of the whole "Ancient Star Wars" part of the fiction, so it fits sort of a Grey Area due to taking place thousands of years prior to the movie timeline era. Some of my favorites are the stories dealing with Exar Kun, and how they eventually tied that it in way into the future during the movie timeline era.

A small number of very specific to KoTOR stuffs showed up in the Clone Wars series which is canon, further pushing it into that grey area.

Has anyone made an MMO using the Cryengine yet? Any kind of MMO really, even a lame ass Bioware type MMO?

That one that would make the characters from Strike Witches blush... Tera ( <- had to google the name just there).

Who will do the Powered Dog Armor add-in first, the mod'ers or official DLC?

p.s. It'll need a mini laser turret.

The Batgirl DLC was developed by WB Montreal (who developed Origins), so Rocksteady's work on the PC is independent of it... well, they're probably involved in porting it now along with the rest of the pc fixes.

So how do you lay siege to a spear?

Also: LOL@INFINISHITTY ENGINE

Still better engine than whatever SC runs on....

O burrnnn

Also - Hell yeah, Hondo. Clone Wars was surprisingly good. I became somewhat addicted by the end of my binge watching.

Still miffed I have to read a comic to find out what eventually happens with Ventress, among other things to do with the cancelation.
