Hey I just picked up on the happy "Waitangi Day New Zealand" on the mast head.
Thanks Blue ... cher Bro, yesterday was a welcome day off. Summer has been the opposite of last year just a total stinker, already a chill in the air & the trees are starting to change.

You guys should give up on whether the ground hog sees his shadow or not & just check how shriveled his balls are.
I'm thinking this year his balls are pretty shriveled .

Guess it is selective? Could have chosen to be addicted to his family and kids.

No question for most an improved quality of life lets us indulge in that brand new car & such shit.
others are vulnerable in the same situation.

RE: PSH.

Whenever something like this happens, I'm always reminded of the line from Blade Runner: "The light that burns twice as bright burns half as long." I don't know what demons he was facing, but I do know that many actors who are as talented as he was, often have trouble dealing with the believable personas they create for their movies. James Gandolfini did crazy things to deal with who he would become while playing Tony Soprano. And no one could forget Heath Ledger's performance as The Joker, especially not Heath Ledger who turned to sleeping pills to deal with the sleeplessness it drove him to.

Unlike many actors who simply play themselves, PSH could create characters and personalities out of whole cloth. It has to be stressful and somewhat mentally unhealthy to inhabit someone you're not for weeks or months during a shoot. So, while this is tragic, I was not living his life and can't judge him for what he did or what he was going through.

You are right with what you say but I believe ultimately it was this simple.
PSH is quoted saying a few years back when in rehab that he's always had a chronic addictive personality, drink, drugs the lot, all out or nothing. Now when you're a student & making your way up the ladder it's cheap booze & other peoples drugs, a ceiling of poverty that limits total indulgence. The guy never changed only now he can afford his own appartment to seperate himself from his family & all the heroine he could ever need, reports are thay found like 50 bags of the stuff up there. When all that money rolled in he must have looked at it like a loaded gun at the time.
TLDR:
Addictive pesonality limited mostly by what you can afford.

My favourite PSH role is "The Talented Mr Ripley" if you have never seen it go watch it, amazing performances all over the place.
Don't care for Jude Law, but in that movie he's very good.
Meh Matt Damon, but in this, his very best effort.
Enter Philip Seymour Hoffman, Just Kick arse.

I have never seen an episode of Game of thrones but apparently the author has an obsession with flaccid phalli.

Ok thanks Jivaro
Used to rugby, all finals berths & final go to team/teams with most points or points scored.

Why is the Super Bowl played at the MetLife Stadium?
I would have thought it would go to one of the two finalists state capitals.

Duke was installed off of seven 1.44meg floppy disks, friend came round installed it, went home, 10 minutes later we were IN THE SAME GAME! ... THE SAME GAME!
It's still amazing to me just how much of that environment was desructable, the huge ming vases from memory were particularly satisfying to shoot. It would be some years before games had any sort of destructable environment let alone mirrors that reflected the player's actions, just amazing for a game of that size.
I don't think I have laughed so uncontrolably in a game as in the time you had to stand on and squish your opponent having shunk them with the shrink ray.

Yeah yeah I'm sure it would have been a tense stage play type movie Quentin, right up until everyone breaks out their personal stash of weapons & spray's the set with more ammo than all that used in both world wars.
Django was amazing with brilliant performances & then the splatter fest. I could not believe he did that to his actors & insists on insulting his audience with what is now becoming completely satirical & just sad. What is he fucking nine.

I don't know if this is common practice anywhere else but we (New Zealand) have replaced corked wine bottles with screw tops.
Very convenient.
Do you cork or screw where you are?

Anyway, grats to the Broncos for winning the Superbowl!

Years ago, in high school, I had a rabid foaming at the mouth Denver fan, who happened to be a science teacher. Most of the time he was a good guy, but anytime the Broncos lost, the next day was literally a book day/studying with no talking whatsoever. And if someone broke this rule, he would flip out, to the point of screaming at the top of his lungs. Before class began and he entered the room, there was talk of "Did the Broncos win last night? Oh fuck..."

I can only imagine where he is now, if he's still alive. But any mention of the Broncos gives me flashbacks.

LOL
His family will probably have medical staff on standby during the game.
