Sorry I DID Beta Test it. While it was fun for a brief time, the repetitive areas soon got to be quite boring.

My personal view is that only the braindead would pay for the founders fee version.

This game will be dead and gone after 6 months at most, there is not near enough content to keep people interested that long and they cannot add enough either.

Any fool that thinks the founders version is worth it, let me know, I have a bridge I have been trying to sell....

Another ho hum asian import. Once people find out the end game pvp is a who can quaff potions faster fest they leave.

Give them a few months and most of the new players will leave, nothing to keep them in this game, although it does have some useful tradeskills, an unusual feature in an asian import.

The sad thing is that I had great respect for Bill Roper and his team. They did such a awesome job on Diablo, it is a real downfall that this title is so poorly put together.

Roper is especially chagrined. He is not used to this type of abuse. They just did not think through their marketing plan very well at all, probably very little experience in this area and it shows.

Maybe they will wake up and remove the silly subscription plan, who knows.

I foresee some very dead servers in 6 months, if they thought this was title like Diablo that would continue for years they are in for a big surprise.

Well considering the 40gb console has no ps2 compatibility and there are still a lot of developers that are still only making ps2 games. I'd say there are going to be alot of very surprised people when they find out the limited game selection for their console.

I understand from a friend that the graphics coding on the ps3 is a nightmare compared to the 360 which is one of the major reasons that many devs are avoiding coding for it.

Even the nintendo wii is outselling the ps3, Sony is really taking it in the ear with this latest console design.

BTW there have been a host of complaints about double billing, even if you happen to like this game avoid the subscription until they fix their billing problems.

I beta tested it, no need to buy the game. Too many restrictions on free play and there is no content to justify the monthly fee.

Bill Roper and pals need to go back to school and take marketing 101, worst marketing plan I have seen in ages on a mediocre game.

Seemed pretty right on.

Although the subscription plan kind of puts me off as there are significant restrictions on the free to play multiplayer.

If I am going to pay a monthly fee there are far better games with tons more content.

Seems odd that they have been working on a MMO for over a year and they are just now announcing an agreement with Lucas Arts?

Sound to me like putting the cart before the horse. I have my doubts that it is the MMO they are working on. Several Bioware people have debunked the idea they are working on a Kotor MMO. So my guess is, that the MMO has nothing to do with Kotor.

As to Star Wars, we will just have to wait and see.

This game is one huge grind fest, probably the worst one I have tried.

I would not recommend it to my worst enemy. How anyone could find this game enjoyable is beyond me.

Well you can kiss Bioware away. Everything EA touches, especially game companies dies.

Only offering a box with no ps2 compatibility is like handing Microsoft the keys and saying the market is yours.

Has to be the most braindead decision I have seen yet from them.

When is Sony going to wake up and fire Smedley, he is by far the dumbest CEO in the business, bar none.

The differences are hardly significant between DX10 and DX9. Just cannot see spending a fortune on a DX10 card to get a bit more partical effects.

Any game producer that codes to strictly DX10 should just be boycotted. No excuse for supporting a Microsoft conspiracy to sell their new OS.

This game might keep a 10 year old entertained for a little bit, a lot of people are going to be very disappointed if they think this is a full blown MMO.

biggest example of vaporware on the net.

Typical of the Devs they keep dropping hints of an upcoming beta, yet they have already postponed beta twice after announcing it and that was some time ago.

You have to wonder where all the money is that they need to support themselves.

Small team with big aspirations is not a good thing, they need to drastically scale back what is in the game to start and get that working.

Time for some criminal charges to be filed.

This game has been a comedy of errors since released, especially in the billing area. If you were dumb enough to be still suscribed to this game you should be fined for complete lack of intelligence.

Basically there are so many restrictions on the free to play you can assume you need to pay the monthly fee. A good portion of the equipment you find in the game is unusable unless you have paid the membership fee. This is really significant if you play a melee or archery class as the damage difference is large.

Personally it is just not that interesting enough to pay the fee.

The problem with all the games from this producer, very little support services. So the game abusers basically have free rein.

Cabal restricts US proxies, so you have to jump through some hoops to play it.

I have yet to find a decent free to play, I don't see this one being any different.

In this industry you get what you pay for. Most of these free to play are constructed so that once you get to a certain level you have to spend money in their shops to progress and they can easily add up to more than a subscription to game you have to pay for. Hence a serious hidden cost to them.

My recommendation is to avoid them all.

If they could restrict this game to adults it would be fine, but everyone knows every kid will be begging to get this and you can bet the kids will get access to it.

This is one case where they just go too far. Time to send a message to unscrupulous developers like Take Two. Clean it up or get out of the business.

Replacing existing workers with lower paid ones? Are we really going back to the time when ex used car salesman sold computers? Does lower paid mean we have to learn another language to converse with the sales people?

Pretty much confirms my avoidence of store in this franchise. Excellent example of how not to run a business.
