so is this still a timed exclusives for EU folks? I mean they will still get the X360 & PC version eventually right?
actually the PC version doesn't really count as there's no PAL or NTSC format to worry about, and nothing stopping EU folks from purchasing it elsewhere - granted it is a hassle. |

thanks for the news Blue! Certainly looking forward to this title!
It's probably built ontop of the Battleship Forever engine, with a better skin. |

If I recall how Stardock handled the GalCiv series.... the patchs are free and available *ONLY* for those who have a registered key for the game.
I don't troll the Stardock forums often enough to know if anyone was able to pirate the patches.

@ surf
blame lack of a demo as the reason you pirate software? wow... how low can you really get?
like MachineMk2 said - curb your enthusiasm and just get the game later rather than steal from the hard-working folks.
bad enough middle-man-publishers 'steal' from the little-dev-guys, it is worse that their fan-base steals from them.

Blue - thanks for the headsup on Plasma worm. If it wasn't for Bluesnews, I would never have learnt about Plasmaworm, Dr Blob or SIAS (my all time favorite time waster - other than Bejeweled.) and other titles from Digital Eel. thanks again.

to be honest i only tried the demo of this title way back when it was about to launch (or had launch, i can't remember now). anyways i didn't like the ground battles, but enjoyed the space ones.
is there a mod or an option ingame to disable or 'auto-fight' the ground battles for me?

indeed the code is stable if not polished. but the lack of gameplay substance is frighteningly lacking considering TR is a Lord British endorsed product.
I'd actually settle for the original TR. Bring back the unicorns, fancy robes and light-swords please. Then at least postmortem reports would have more than one line to write.

Guild Wars in space without the instancing.
I could tolerate the action-ish MMOG, I could accept the rehashed gfx engine, the senseless fed-ex missions, the traveling on foot, but what I totally couldn't accept was the lack of gameplay and story depth. Whats worse... the problem was voiced out long ago, but nothing done.
The alien benefactor name spelled backwards is 'HOLE' should have been ample warning...
I personally want to still believe that TR has potential, but in its present condition it would just turn more potential customers away. Give it another 6 months to a year.
