Well , the game keeps getting better each iteration, so keep em coming. I would really like simultaneous releases, becuase I prefer to play it on the pc and I hate waiting 6 months.

And frankly it was stealth but still action packed, there was no reason to fuck with it.

It was too hard for the CoD demographic. If you got into a firefight, there was a pretty good chance that you'd die and that's totally not cool. I mean, sure, it's a stealth game and all but the player should still be able to run and gun if they want to, amirite?

First class sarcasm! I applaud you, Jerykk. xD

Indeed it was exactly the fact that you couldn't run and gun that made Chaos Theory right about the best and last fantastic stealthgame out there. Man, was it good! And, seriously, those graphics still look good.

If they'd make SC6 like Chaos Theory but with even more cool features and interactivity with your surroundings etc... this game would be such an extreme win.

Sadly, people that think they know what's cool and what the public wants fail utterly... yet they're the ones making the decisions. *sob*
So, we ALL agree Splinter Cell should play like Chaos Theory, right? Ubisoft should know this.

Conviction would've been one of my fav games of all time if it wasn't for the color-draining feature that kicks in when you go into the shadows. Hope they remove it or make it optional in #6.

Im fine with it, I enjoyed a bit myself. But, if you played previous Splinter Cell games, you should know that its no longer a terrific stealth game.

In fact, after fininishing Conviction, I started and finished Splinter Cell 1 on PC (it looks very good with todays hardware: 8AA & 16AF). SP1 its a very good game. I started SP Pandora Tomorrow and Chaos Thery but I have so many games to play I dont know what to do.

I hope Splinter Cell Series go back to its roots.

I always felt curiosity for Combat Flight Simulators. I played the demo on the PS3 and I AM IMPRESSED. The game feels nice, the graphics are cool, and feels polished. Will try it on PC when a DEMO comes out.
Interesting software indeed

This time the hotfix 10.10e holds an older driver version than 10.11. Well, its logical, so I recommend 10.11...

Well, I loved the first DiRT and hated the teenage theme of DiRT 2. I hope they can transplant the excellent gameplay of DiRT2 to DiRT3 (and perfect it more), without that teen style.

How can it be acceptable to suffer sttutering like hell? No one ever played it on pc after porting it? For me its unplayable until patched.

Time goes by and it clearly shows that games are being released with major bugs... to be patched AFTER release date (some are not). It really sucks balls..

Game got a rather negative review on Gametrailers. But then.. it's Gametrailers. They more often than not don't know what they're talking about or what they're reviewing.

On my way to Prague now. Gonna check the demo next tuesday. Pretty curious about it!
I agree with almost all Gametrailers reviews.

Shank is fun, good, stylish, but expensive and very short (I ended it in 3 hours). Its like a pumped up good flash game.

All good, but they are taking too long to fix some things. Momentum has gone, at least for me. It shows that the game could have been more polished from the get go, instead they released with game breaking bugs.

Well you are right, but I hope it looks better on pc. At least I can enable/force Anisotropic Filtering x16 and Antialiasing x8!!

Well, If I could choose I would opt for no service.

Why we need Steam of GFWL? How gamers have been playing online and getting updates beforce this services?

I do hate GFWL and do not hate Steam, but why do I need to have Steam and be Online to play Secret Monkey Island (for example).

Oh there's co-op, just local only which works great on PC don't you know.

Yeah, because same-screen co-op is such the standard.
Yeah, its not "standard", but I assure you that playing this game on the same screen with a friend/girlfriend its a blast! I dont know if you get the same feeling playing over internet!

Its the same as playing PES/FIFA on the same screen with 4 players: its fucking fun!

In The Sacrifice for Left 4 Dead 2 owners receive "The Sacrifice" campaign playable with the Left 4 Dead Survivors.
This makes it sound like you can only use the L4D1 survivors in L4D2 on this specific campaign only,
Its EXACTLY what it says: L4D1 survivors only on The Sacrifice and No Mercy campaigns in L4D2.

Left 4 Dead 2 shouldve been an expansion...

It is correct! GOG games were certified for VISTA ONLY (Win 7 was NOT OFFICIALLY SUPPORTED).

My opinion about latest GOG days: Guys, cmon, a couple of days without the service is not a nightmare. Remember that the files were instantly available for download until these days. Its not like you cant play the games you bought (which made me think about my 40 steam games).
Lets wait to see. They have already said we could download the games again.
So much anger in this site!

I bought Prototype for the PC, never finished it.
It has several minor bugs the programmers never cared to fix. Biggest one for me was an issue the game has with the Microsoft Sidewinder Mouse. Ran like crap with the mouse attached to the computer and the mouse software installed, the only game I have had this issue with. Only ways for me to get the game to run well were to 1. unplug the mouse totally from the system and plug in an xbox 360 controller to play with (which I found annoying, the unplugging of the mouse not the using of a controller) or 2. go into device manager and disable HID devices, which let the mouse stay attached while you played with no slowdown.
The downside to the second method was that I lost all advanced feature controls for the mouse (user configured sensitivity settings, macros, etc.) with HID devices disabled.

Compared to Prototype, I found Wolverine more fun and the only issue I had with it was to consistently get v-sync to work.
Changing the setting in the config file broke something with the game engine, and caused textures to disappear or become very blurred (the only unreal engine game this has happened to me on), but forcing v-sync through nvidia control panel worked most of the time.
Well, unlike you, I loved Prototype (I love Sandbox games) and hated Wolverine.

Since this is the first game in a while from ubi without the always on DRM, that means I'm a bit interested, I'll try the demo.
I'm not sure why I thought this was a pay monthly, but the steam page doesn't say anything about it being one.

What I really want is to get the Prince of Persia and Settlers games, but I won't be giving ubi money for it until they reduce the DRM (unless steam has a sale for like $5 or so, I'd be willing to risk that much and wait to play when/if they do reduce the DRM).
I played PoP: The Forgotten Sands and finished in 7 hours. The game has a uninspiring storyline, 4 characters including the Prince, boring mechanichs and repetitive gameplay. It has good visuals though. The game is mediocre. I do not recommend it, despite that many are comparing it to Sands of Time, Warrior Within and Two Thrones. Those 3 were very good. And Uni DRM sucks, so I played it on the 360. Do not buy it, you have been warned.
