| This guy is probably wrong. As Dead Space 2 (and many EA games) when you login you have to register or login with an email to EA servers, when that happens, the game gets registered on Origin. Its not that it scan the registry seeking serial numbers and adding it automagically. |

40 hours isn't bad or anything although if its the usual dev exaggeration then there might be a lot less side content than even ME2. I completed Mass Effect 2 100% (all dlc, every mission) on 32 hs. Loved it. |

Also, as far as I can recall, the ME2 DLC NEVER went on sale either.

All this are long, are not included in the main game (even if you have Digital Deluxe Ed. or Collector Ed.) and some (like Arrival or Lair of the Shadow Broker) are really worth playing, but damn, they are really expensive! DLC is getting out of hand. I know that A LOT of content wil be missing from Mass Effect 3 from day 1 and made as DLC. Its a shame as I dont plan too buy it, as I didnt buy Mass Effect 2 DLC...
"- The content in “From Ashes” was developed by a separate team (after the core game was finished) and not completed until well after the main game went into certification." Yeah right... I don't actually agree with any of these. All these DLCs came out LONG after the main game, so in that case I think it's clear they were developed after the main game shipped. i have no problem with those, especially since I quite enjoyed all of these.
Zaeed's DLC pack and this From Ashes pack were both created at the same time, were ready at launch day, and are simply being sold separately to raise profits.
Creston I checked release dates and damn, you are right. Nevertheless, they are expensive as hell, and "From Ashes" DLC is unexcusable. |

Biggest letdown ever. I thought that this bundle would have COOP games (Valentines anyone?). Instead, I got old games I already have and some I dont want. And I preordered... my mistake for sure! Spent $4 on something that has ZERO value for me right now and nothing goes to charity. I know, its my fault. Will never ever preorder again. Indie Royale: better step it up. |

Why on earth would you want higher res textures? To whine about a 50gb download? Or to whine because your video card can't handle it? Everyone wants a better looking Rage. Could be a texture pack, could be a patch, could be a combination of filters and detail textures (which is crap by the way) but Megatexture turned out to be terrible thing for pc players and the game requirements are too high for how it plays sounds and LOOKS. Is it clear now? |

| This does surprise me a little. Homefront sold well, Space Marine sold very well (despite beign a crap game, I cant finish the game cause its boring and repetitive), and Armageddon despite beign crap put up a fight. THQ is going downhill. I really hope they dont fuck up Metro: Last Light. |

Few days ago I complained about id not patching the game. Yesterday noticed Rage was patching (you wouldnt believe no idea my excitement!). Then noticed the textures were not updated, insted a filter/sharpening combination was added...
When turning On Detail Textures it warned me about no having enough cores (I have a Phenom 965, 4 cores at 3.3ghz, I think its more than enough for ALL games, wtf!?). When playing the game stutters like hell, but it really improves close up textures (but adds A LOT of noise too, which I hate). Currently is unplayable with Detail Textures On with my setup.
My current specs: Phenom 965, ATI 6850 12.2 Preview Driver, 8GB RAM.
Im absolutely hating id now. Shame cause id loved every game they've released till now. |

People complain about DRM and other idiots LOVE to have their steam account filled with games.
If a bundle (royal, humble, other) doesnt have games that dont register on steam the bundle is less succesful than other that does register (even if they offer the games drm free).
Paradox use Steam because customers WANT not because they want. I bet if people claim their games to be DRM STEAM FREE they could ship them DRM FREE for real. |
