I'd like one too, please, if you've still got some left. Cheers.

The Agency was shaping up to be quite interesting - surely they can resurrect it as F2P, if that's the way they're going?

I also have no doubt that BF3 will be better than Blops though.

This. The question shouldn't be "will BF3 be good enough to outsell CoD?" - CoD isn't good, it's popular.

My local cafe's fancy cheeseburgers will never outsell McDonalds', but I know which I'd rather eat...

australia also famous for outlawing pornography starring ladies with A sized breasts. because they incite porno viewers to child pornography, apparently.

That's not accurate, as Crikey explained: http://www.crikey.com.au/2010/01/29/has-australia-really-banned-small-breasts/

What really gets me though, is Lyn Shelton's statement
I note that Mr O'Connor's media statement fails to mention that the same survey found that two in three (70%) Australians agree that it would be difficult for parents to stop children from accessing R18+ games.
Australia has had an R18+ classification for movies since the '70s - why are underage kids going to suddenly start getting their hands on adult games? The hefty fines for retailers selling restricted material to minors (or adults supplying restricted material to minors) should be a deterrent.

VLC 1.1.4 is available now - not sure where the 1.2.0 came from, as the page it's linked to doesn't mention it.

100 million facebook pages leaked on torrent site , hmm well guess people don't mind that at all , Faceshet = idiots , everywere that shet appear data gets leaked , but then again = nobody care today..... sad

People don't care because all the information is publicly available - it was information that FB users didn't protect with privacy settings. This clown hasn't 'hacked' anything, he hasn't exposed a security flaw, he just made a webcrawler. Bravo.

This is just a lame attempt at generating some publicity for his security firm (the website of which doesn't even work at the moment).

wow you are stupid

What a stupid joke to make in the first place though - it's no wonder everyone takes the piss out of the music industry when they're so over-the-top about protecting their profits. There's no lives at stake when you're talking about copyright infringement (unlike actual piracy, of course).

Nice bait and switch DICE, you know that is false advertising right?

A bait and switch is advertising one thing and then offering another - how does that apply here?

Man, you guys all missed the point of the article, huh?

Sure, but the article starts with:
On May 26, Apple's market capitalization stood at $223 billion. That took it, for the first time, higher than Microsoft, which had a market cap of $219.3 billion. Apple, not Microsoft, not Google, was at the top of the technology business mountain. And that marked the end of an era: The PC is no longer the center of the computing universe.

The PC: August 12, 1981 -- May 26, 2010. RIP.

This is a little melodramatic, and doesn't really support his point - he's singled out a single supplier of PC software and peripherals to compare to the hip gadget juggernaught.

Back To The Future Mall Sign FTW.
Anyone who says theyíve noticed this before is a liar.

Oh, I see what you did there - you just noticed it, so you're going to preemptively declare anyone who says "You idiot, I noticed that when I saw it in 1985 - it wasn't exactly hidden" is lying?

Knob-end.

The 'My Game Face' feature would have more enjoyable if didn't include photos of 10 and 11 year-olds playing an 18-rated game...

Do they ban movies with sex, violence and drugs too? Do they ban smoking and alcohol? They should.

No, they release them with an R rating. The thing is Australia is the only 'civilised' country without an adult rating for games - since Singapore introduced an M18 rating in April this year.

1. Fallout 3 Banned in Australia? Not yet. Jul 3, 2008, 23:14 Tusker

I'm a bit saddened that a post from the GameSpot forums from some bloke who allegedly has a mate who works for the OFLC saying Fallout 3 has been refused classification has made the news page.

Fallout 3 has not been refused classification or 'banned', it is pure speculation at this stage.

What a bunch of rocket scientists.
