A brothel would be no problem for the european version, but they wont risk it for the US market |

| I found it pretty awesome but I thought there would be a return of the duels of the fate theme, maybe it's in the movie but not on the soundtrack. |

Consoles vs. PC |

Well I was always the first to bash console gaming in general but my room mate and me, we decided to buy an Xbox just because we didn't want to build new PCs for gaming during terms. Well what can I say, it was a good decision, it's pure fun to play Rallisport Challenge 2 or Burnout 3 on splitscreen and with Splinter Cell 3 , SW Rep Commando and Ninja Gaiden we got some great Single Player games. I still want my HL2, Doom 3 and Eve online on the PC and I still love mouse aiming, but the Xbox is fun as well

Played the Riddick Demo and it felt great. But Republic Commando must be the damn best Star Wars game in ages. Played through it on the xbox (damnit I own a console now, how pathetic ) and I gotta say there's never a dull moment in it. Finally we got to the "Wars" in Star Wars, and I love it. Now where's the sequel with a decent multiplayer component? |

| I find that point "Target market" on the page quite amusing. "Yea we're targeting the mass market! Oh yea and hardcore gamers!" "Ahm boss, that would be everyone.."<br>About that screenshot: The character is ok but architecture looks quite blocky and the trees are so 2-years-ago. |

Really liked the Demo since it captured a cool battle atmosphere that has not necessarily anything to do with star wars but....it IS star wars nonetheless Anyway, Assault Multiplayer on PC? Sign me up... |

Hijacking thread: My favorite books: Wheel of Time Series (come to an end already!), Song of Ice and Fire (brutal, just brutal), Dark Tower (might be the best series of all time), Malazan Empire Series (extremely complex but rewarding). |

| Really enjoying this. Cheesyness aside, it kinda draws you into the game, which could mean good things for the single player game of the retail version (a weak point of Generals). I like the realistic style and the overall presentation of the game. Now if you could only have squads of units like in DoW for example. Positive first impressions, though. |

Punisher |

|
| Well, yesterday I tried the Punisher demo for PC...what an awful waste of time, a real punishment to say the least. The guy over at 3DAvenue deserves to be punished for comparing this piece of shit to Max Payne. Bland Models, bland textures, bland map design, etc etc , please feel free to try it yourselves... hmmm I guess I didn't employ the word "punish" often enough... |

| Hmm I didn't read anything about the game being buggy as hell, the review just says that it isnt very innovative despite the great graphics and the excellent movie licence. |

You asked for it....
Ladies and gentlemen of the supposed jury, I have one final thing I want you to consider: (pulling down a diagram of Chewie) this is Chewbacca. Chewbacca is a Wookiee from the planet Kashyyyk, but Chewbacca lives on the planet Endor. Now, think about that. That does not make sense!
Why would a Wookiee -- an eight foot tall Wookiee -- want to live on Endor with a bunch of two foot tall Ewoks? That does not make sense!
But more importantly, you have to ask yourself: what does that have to do with this case? Nothing. Ladies and gentlemen, it has nothing to do with this case! It does not make sense!
Look at me, I'm a lawyer defending a major video game company, and I'm talkin' about Chewbacca. Does that make sense? Ladies and gentlemen, I am not making any sense. None of this makes sense.
And so you have to remember, when you're in that jury room deliberating and conjugating the Emancipation Proclamation... does it make sense? No! Ladies and gentlemen of this supposed jury, it does not make sense.
If Chewbacca lives on Endor, you must acquit! The defense rests. |
