I plan on selling off my 360 once I can get a PS3.
Just checked the gamespot launch centers for PS3 and Wii. Seems to me that all original games are either duds (Red Steel) or good but forgettable (Resistance). Multi Platform games are all done better on the 360 (Call of Duty 3).
Having just finished Gears of War, I can really see no reason for another console right now, except....my PC of course with NWN2 and Dark Crusade  |

If FPSes had never caught on with the consoles, would Deus Ex 2 have been consolized? Or Ghost Recon? Or Rainbow Six? Or Call of Duty? Or Thief 3? The list goes on.
You're right with Deus Ex 2 but Ghost Recon: AW was way better on the 360. Battle for Middle Earth II also had a normal PC version and a very good 360 port. If it stays that way I'll be fine and I dont have to upgrade my PC for CnC3. The 360 should stay away from Dawn of War, though  |

| First I thought the demo ran pretty good on my dell latitude until I played the siege mission. It was about 5 FPS or so then and I saw no reason to justify that bad performance. Now I'm undecided if I should purchase it.... |

Eh any of you played Battle for middle earth II on the xbox 360, great translation, very good controls! I think it's near perfect for a controller...

I agree, Dark Crusade is just THAT good. CoH introduces some cool new concepts like how your squads automatically seek cover and the resource model, but nothing beats the awesome clash of the seven Dawn of War Races. Can't wait for Dawn of War 2 which should come in 2007 according to the teaser at the end of Dark Crusade.
That said, CoH is probably the best WW2 RTS game out there any maybe one of the best WW2 games ever. |

| Just played the demo and was surprised it ran that smooth on my Dell Latitude D620 with nvidia quadro mobile, NWN2 runs like crap on it. It DOES slow down when I zoom down to lots of units in battle but I guess that's normal. It does not have the complex tech tiers of Dawn of War but I thought the artwork was pretty good, despite the battle animations being a bit weak. Before playing the demo I did not intend to buy this, now I'm undecided.... |

| The system requirements are pretty steep on the pc I heard. Shader 3.0 card REQUIRED?? dual core recommended?? Guess a lot of x800 users will be pissed about that (i have a x800 pro myself, that's why I bought the 360 version) |

| I'm a longtime PC gamer and I bought an xbox 360 a couple of months ago. So far I'm pretty happy with xbox live. You find players for every game and matchmaking is usually quick and painless. Loving Double Agent online.... |

how many of these people here even know what Planescape: Torment is?? much less played it? much less enjoyed it immensely???? I remember that I started Planescape three times from scratch over a span of about 4 years. On the third run I actually finished it and only then I began to see what a marvelous game it was. I can honestly say that no other game surpasses Torment even to this very day.
Getting NWN2 tomorrow.... |

| Heard they will port it to the xbox 360 which is a good thing. I am a Gothic fan but I wont put up with this bug shit anymore. On the xbox it will at least have to be playable and I wont have to upgrade my pc.... |

| I think I read in the PC system reqs that you NEED to have a shader 3.0 card. The requirements are pretty steep that's why I bought it for the xbox 360. |
