I can't believe this. I played CNC3 online for about 2 months after its initial release and the network code sucked ass. Horrible Lobby and constant connection problems. Now the expansion is out and STILL everything is fucked. Good thing I quit this a long time ago and didnt buy the XP.

| What an awesome way to start the last season. Despite being one of the best shows on TV, the first 5 minutes of the latest episode had one of the greatest Space battles of all time. Loved it. It's a good thing that this is the last season. A lot less "filler" episodes that way. |

I don't care about the engine, I don't care about the POV. Just create a good atmosphere. Like when I descended for the first time into the Glow in FO1. Words can't describe this.

Levine's team did in fact work only on the SP for T:Vengeance. Which was pretty good, just unnecessary for a Tribes game. Exactly, and from that point on I knew that this team was one to watch. I mean, seriously, creating a good SP story for Tribes? Wow.... |

| Just for the record: Tribes: V was not really Tribes in Multiplayer but - believe it or not- it had a fucking great single player story line. I remember buying it for 10 bucks some years ago and thought I'd play the SP just to see how they could have possibly come up with a story for Tribes. When I started playing I couldnt believe it: Great storytelling and a plot you really cared about with lots of little surprises like flash-forwards and some pretty good twists. |

I try to keep the balance. Examples: Currently I'm completely hooked on Supreme Commander Multiplayer (PC). I recently played Mass Effect on the 360 and loved it - the gamepad didn't get in the way at all. Some time ago I played Resident Evil 4 on the Wii and thought it was one of the greatest games of all time.
If they want to move RTS games to consoles they have to convince me with some well executed concepts. Tiberium Wars was okay on the 360 but you definitely wanted a mouse and a keyboard. That's because this RTS "concept" is coming from the PC. Now if they come up with some new tricks that will NOT make me wanna plug my mouse into the 360 I'll be impressed.
Oh and I think Supreme Commander on the 360 will not work at all (because I don't think they put that much effort into redesigning the controls)
I'm still convinced that a good game can be executed on any control scheme.
Just like a good story can be executed on any genre (hmm okay except sports I guess).

Yes it is time consuming. Yes it has no "Story-Mode" single player campaign. You play it on randomly generated maps (ranging from small to you-must-be-kidding) and scenarios.
Just try the demo, hope you like it. |

I'm not skipping PC, I currently play Supreme Commander, Quake Wars and Titan Quest. I'm just saying that developers and publishers should take a look at the wii and think about what's more important: SLI powered graphics or Fun.
However, the moment you convert completely from PC to console, you officially lose any "hardcore" status you may have had and officially gain the status of "filthy traitor." LOL, just lol, and I guess you defined that rule.
