Yea, I always read the UK site of eurogamer, though. The English seem to be extra critical. I'm from germany and you really can't trust our mags either. |

Yea they are really carefully avoiding any non-combat activities. I have a bad feeling about this...
Edit: Eurogamer's preview seems to share my feelings:
characterless art, cold visuals, wonky animation, weak real-time combat, off-kilter writing. As it stands, Fallout 3 just doesn't feel right, and it will leave many players shivering for warmth in its nuclear winter.

| The thing is you can't tell from this video how the camera will behave, which was a real show stopper in NWN2. You just can't beat the slick controls of the 2D Infinity Engine. |

Play from hard drive. Copy your games from the game disc and play directly from the hard drive. Not only will the drive not spin, but load times are quicker, as well. Of course, you will still need the disc in the tray to prove you own the game. Good thing. |

| I don't complain about the engine and if it has the smooth controls and camera of nwn1, a nice toolset and a strong campaign then count me in. |

I wouldn't mind if they just remake NWN1 with better graphics. After playing lots of NWN2 I installed NWN1 again just because I was bored. Camera...Controls...sooo smooth compared to NWN2.

| I really can't believe this. They've been using the SAGE engine since Generals and STILL don't know how to provide a smooth online gaming experience. And something tells me that all this shit is going to happen again with the release of Red Alert 3. |

| I recently played through Mask of the Betrayer and despite one nasty crash bug and the infamous NWN2 camera I enjoyed it. Some nice actual role playing in there and a great "planetouched" story. Now I remember how many hours I pumped into NWN1 and countless awesome user modules. Gues I'll start browsing the NWN2 module hall of fame on nwvault.com |

| I wish the industry and its studios would move to a release/announcement model similar to Apple's. Now I'm no fan of Apple but I like the fact that you can order a product the moment it's on their web page (Iphone was an exception I think). Sure, videogames need their marketing hype but please don't start with it until the retail release is imminent. |
