| For me, the thing is: I dont WANT to build another desktop PC, I'm pretty happy with just laptops and I want my PC gaming on those. |

| I play all of my games on my Samsung R70 santa rosa laptop with a modest 8600 GS video card. With this setup you really see which developers optimize their engines in new games. World in Conflict for example is a very demanding game but it actually runs great if you turn down SOME details while still looking pretty good. Crysis on the other hand ran like shit even on the lowest possible setting and you could really feel how bad the underlying codebase was. |

You know, after playing Fallen Empire: Legions I'm excited about browser games. Why? Because I have some buddies who don't really want to buy a full game and don't really have the hardware for new games. Now I can just tell them to fire up the browser and we'll duke it out  |

The Dark Eye is basically the german D&D and Drakensang has been heavily influenced by Baldur's Gate. It received pretty good reviews over here but I haven't had the time to secure a retail copy. So try the demo  |

I am not very interested in previews, but I'm completely uninterested in gamespot previews or anything published by gamespot. Read the eurogamer previews. The english don't seem to give a shit about marketing bullshit. |

Since I dont really want to play MGS4 at all there's no reason to switch to the ps3 just yet. 360 has more games with equal or slightly superior performance. This all may change in the future and if sony's price is right I'll be there. Always do the math on this and don't be the companies' whore, that's my credo.
Edit: and we all know how important it is to have the bleeding edge hardware, now don't we? (PS2 wiped the floor with xbox 1,wii wipes the floor with all of them)

There are lots of guns in the game (Assault Rifle, Shotguns, Colt, etc.) but you really have to conserve your ammo. There are levels where you don't get a single firearm and others where there's guns a-plenty. Did I mention that melee combat is better than ever with lots of combos, special attacks and nasty weapons like deer antlers?
But that's really what redefined the "Shooter" genre for me: You really get the feeling that you're in a hostile, dangerous and pretty scary environment. You don't carry 10 guns and a rocket launcher, you take what you get (later you get a holster to stow away ONE firearm, though).
It's a shame that this won't be out for the PC. I think that together with "The Darkness" this is the finest in First Person Action Gaming (Solo).
Edit: Oh and you have to drink booze (in C2) to steady your aim

I played through Condemned 1 on the PC. It was pretty creepy, except the AI was too predictable. @Jerykk
I urge you to try out Condemned 2. Did a lot of things better than the already very good predecessor. One of the best shooters I played in a very very long time. |

For a game to be scary, the player needs to feel vulnerable. Play Condemned 1 and 2 on the Xbox 360. For me it redefined the genre. |
