- Medical Liability Reform "enact common-sense medical liability reforms to lower costs, rein in junk lawsuits and curb defensive medicine" - Purchase Health Insurance Across State Lines "spurs competition in the market" - Expand Health Savings Accounts (HSA's) - Ensure Access for Patients with Pre-Existing Conditions "make it illegal for an insurance company to deny coverage to someone with prior coverage on the basis of a pre-existing condition, eliminate annual and lifetime spending caps, and prevent insurers from dropping your coverage just because you get sick" |

Obamacare is the shining example of his "my way or the highway" approach to policy. Wouldn't even stop to let it be read before it was voted on, for goodness sake. |

This is not even worth discussing until children can drive themselves to the fast-food restaurants.
That being said, I'm finding the whole notion of advertising increasing more silly as I get older. I don't think I'm unique in that I only buy something when I need it, and I don't shop brands, I buy based on value proposition. But, maybe I am. TV commercials any more fall into one of two buckets; entertainment or annoyance. I rarely even remember the product. |

| I bought an earlier version of this concept when they closed them out on Woot, the Entourage Pocket Edge. Nice toy, but not really practical. It would be a lot more useful though with newer hardware, especially if they could get it much thinner. Books are just much nicer to read on e-ink, in my opinion. |

Regardless how you feel about this, it's hard to dispute this:
In far too many cases however, class actions don’t provide any real benefit to users and instead impose unnecessary expense and delay, and are often designed to benefit the class action lawyers who craft and litigate these claims. Class actions like these do not benefit us or our communities. |

| I think a scaled down version for desktop PC or laptop use would be much more interesting to me. I don't care about the full body stuff, but I could see many uses with facial recognition or hand gestures while sitting at my desk. |

| Seems some folks missed the point of the article. All he was saying is, don't let video games take over your life "learn to responsibly engage". Seems a pretty harmless, and even somewhat helpful, message, so I don't understand what all the fuss is about. I guess some people just like to exercise their religiophobia at any opportunity. |

This is interesting to me, but only from this perspective. He has gone from making games that people play to games that play people. He's gone from creating god-games to being a god over gamers.

Cutter, add a can of creamed corn to your recipe (or less, depending on your batch size). Should soften it up nicely, and the little bits of corn are a nice surprise! |

Someone mentioned Kirk and Spock running around like space marines... yea, seems out of placed based on the old series, but don't forget, the new movies are an altered history. Vulcan, being mostly pacifists, really tempered and influenced Star Fleet. But Vulcan was blowed up; without Vulcan, I can easily see the human-centric Star Fleet become more radical and more of the "shoot first, ask questions later" type of organization. Spock also will probably have an edge, being one of the last of his kind, he may have a bone to pick.... certainly has a different set of influences and examples to learn from.
So yea, in that context, I guess it makes sense.... maybe.... |
