Okay. A sniper climbs onto a roof, destroying all stairs and ladders behind him. He then spends the next half hour sniping everyone since he has the higher ground and nobody can reach him. Eventually, the other players can do enough damage to the building to blow it up. Unfortunately, by this time, the sniper has racked up tons of kills. I wouldn't say tons.. just whatever ammo he has on him. And how can he destroy all access to himself? Only if allowed to carry an ungodly amount of explosive. There are creative ways to limit these things.
As for falling into holes, that's not good level design either. In a fully destructable environment, there would likely be very many holes to fall into. Forcing players to commit suicide would deduct from their score. Allow other players to "rescue" teammates who have fallen into holes; could be a simple as the use key. Get points for helping, like when you heal someone. You could even introduce items like ropes or rope ladders, or allow the player to move an object in the game like a pole or beam. See? Stop thinking so linear. Fully destructable environments should create new challenges for the players and game physics should give them more creativity to respond to them.

Blue, that post is a mess. How about breaking up the links by file type using a bulleted list and only typing "registration required" once. Example:
-Update patch (version 1.3 only) Link*, Link*, Link, Link
-Full patch (any prior version) Link*, Link*, Link, Link
-Linux server Link*, Link*, Link, Link
-Win 32 server Link*, Link*, Link, Link
*=registration required

It's too bad they can't add the ability to drag or carry a body to a safe location to revive them. I believe it was a Wolf:ET mod that let you do that. Very nice!

Sorry LugNut, 4x00 series cards are not supported. Game will not run at all (black screen, then drops you back to desktop).

you can tell he just isn't disciplined Exactly. Like most children today, he is lazy and pampered. Look what a disciplined, hard working environment did for him:
Desperate, Jeffries arranged for Jeffrey to be placed with a Utah family that operates a remote ranch, where he spent two years without medication of any kind.
"It was a different kind of program. It's a working ranch with a lot of work to do. Instead of sending Jeffrey to a quiet room when he misbehaved, they'd have him shovel horse manure," she said.
"Whatever they did, it worked. He's still not using any medication." Marijuana is just a drug like any other, and still not the answer to most problems, although those on both sides of the issue will tell you different.

Bronco,
My gaming group switched from TeamSpeak to Ventrilo several months ago and haven't looked back. Ventrilo just has better clarity (and I believe lower server overhead, depending on the codec used).
Also, I use a Plantronics USB headset and both Teamspeak and Ventrilo work fine with it, so if you don't want to get a new soundcard, that is a good option.

Nothing. There's no card you can buy in that price range that is significantly better than a 4200. Appreciate the confirmation. That is kinda what I was feeling based on reviews. Thanks!

What's the opinion on the best video card to get around the $100 - $150 range? I have an aging TI4200 and want an interim upgrade before I completely revamp this summer to PCI-E.

Let's talk about Michael Moore . . . . I wonder if the actions of Moore and others (Liberal Rawkers for Change) backfired.Did people get tired of hearing them? or did they actaully spur more conservatives to vote? Absolutely, and I eluded to it earlier. The numbers certainly seem to indicate that.

When 200 million people don't vote versus the 100 million that do I'd say that's indicative of a problem, wouldn't you? Way to play with the numbers there, guy. But when have you ever let facts stop you? 85-100 million of our population cannot vote, because they are not old enough, infirmed, or in prison. (Stats are from the US Census).
I grew tired of this whole process months ago, but seeing you blow your top has made it all worthwhile.

This proves one thing; that the lunatic fringe (Michael Moore, the 527's like moveon.org, and the Halsy's of the world) had absolutely ZERO impact on this election. In fact, it seems they did nothing but motivate the Republican base to get out and vote. GG Libs.
Now we wait and see how maturely they handle the outcome. HAHA.. I can't even keep a straight face typing that. We all know they will act like the big babies they did for 4 years after 2000.
Take your own advice and MOVE ON.
