The only bug that I ever had that was annoying was the missing s.7 key, which means I couldn't go back and get some stuff. And it's reallly rare. Everything else was minor. Anything else though? There was hmm one or two patches that came out and those were eax related crashes. Good old eax. Heck, I played it just the other day on Win7x64 without a problem just to see if it would work, not a problem. I'm working on getting all the bootleg stuff installed now so it'll look pretty. |

The original PC release was bug filled? Really? I must have played it oh I dunno 40 or 50 times and never came across a bug, outside of the same bugs that existed on the PS platform. Besides the game looks much better with the bootleg version, besides that? Meh. Shitty? It wasn't any shittier than the PS version.
But I can't quite figure out where or why they want to put DRM on a 13 or is it 14 year old game. |

Out of country charges often raise a red flag. Doesn't make a whole pile of sense to be honest. I order a pile of crap from S.Korea and Japan, never had a problem. But GMG I've had nothing but problems. |

That's good to hear Blue.
Misleading headline is misleading, bad newspaper. "Oklahoma is so hot that street lamps are melting." No they're not. The long-strand translucent polymer bubble covers are melting, and that's because they're made using one of two forms. Either by lowheat forms then glue bonding, or by vacuum forming. The bulbs themselves I'll bet are low pressure sodium, both of which emit very little heat. Meh we used both types of forming back when I was working in medium and heavy industry, and when the plant hit 125-130f, all our stuff would go *bloop* the first time we did it, we yelled at management. And shitcanned it. The second time, we switched to a new forming processes.

Should they even be able to change it on you at that point? Not legal here, so it really doesn't affect me at all. So really, it sucks for people that it does. Should they be able to though? Nope. It's a failure of law, because it hasn't caught up with technology. |

Warskull wrote on Aug 1, 2012, 00:12: It is a huge win for corporations because they can basically write lawsuit immunity into all their license agreements. In 20 years times this will seriously fuck everyone over. Get consumer protection laws then. Canada has them, Europe has them. Kick your state legislators in the chops and get them to write laws to protect you from such things then. If you have to, "copy" laws from other provinces/states to do it. Ontario's is good, so is Quebec's, and so is Denmark and Germany's. |

The book is great, but it isn't THAT long.
- They could have made LoTR, 6 movies long for all the material they cut from the books. I was sorely disappointed that there was no Tom Bombadil. |

But they saved 10 grand a year for the past 5-10 years and it only put them out of business overnight! Done: Amazon outage raises serious questions basically discusses the problems with cloud storage and all that jazz. There was another thread on /. too, where a whole pile of companies got left with their asses hanging in the air. |
