The battles get a LOT more involved as you unlock more skills. It always takes me a bit to get back in to the Witcher controls, but eventually it comes more natural and isn't bad. But that initial hour or so is always a struggle while everything destroys me.
Some Blues guys mentioned a combat mod for Witcher 2 but I'm not sure if it's much better or not. The current system seems somewhat muddled.

The prologue and first chapter are kinda shitty. It gets really good from chapter 2 and on.
Ok, maybe I'll have to give it another shot. I didn't make it past the first battle I was so unimpressed.

I gotta say, I tried Witcher 2 over the course of last week and really couldn't get into it.
The combat, the visuals, the cinematography and pacing (cutscenes), the interface... just didn't do it for me.

Shame, I was really looking forward to playing it.

Their kickstarter pitch video was one of the coolest I've ever seen.

Swa the kickstarter for this a while back. The team looked truly passionate about the game and it does look interesting to say the least.

BoGT was SO much better. I didn't really like LatD. And when compared to Ballad, it was really quite abysmal. :\ Go play BoGT!
Yeah LATD was terrible compared to BOGT. It was far too serious, and the protagonist was unlikable.

The Ballad of Gay Tony was friggin AWESOME. I'm guessing you didn't play it...?
Louise is such a hilarious character. His dialogue was some of the best I've heard in a game. The voice actor did a tremendous job, too.

BOGT was awesome (apart from a terrible helicopter mission)

The return of Commander Mode is welcome but the game itself seems very derivative. Definitely a wait for reviews thing, the quality of the content should be what matters here, not the quality of the marketing.
Although BF4 is highly derivative of BF3, look at it this way:

If BF4 was a giant DLC package for BF3, how much would it cost? I'd say with the amount of content they're providing it would be pretty close to retail.
The downside with it coming out as the next iteration is that you can't play it in conjunction with the BF3 maps to add variety.

FOX continues it's tradition of employing the three dumbest people currently staring into a TV camera on FOX and Friends. Hasselbeck is an even bigger dipshit than Gretchen Carlson, and that's saying a lot. Steve Doocy and the brown-haired guy who isn't Steve Doocy are still there because it's difficult finding replacements who are even dumber than they are who can still read a teleprompter.

"they even had to feed him while he was ON the video games"

Make it sound like a horrible drug. Hah, these 3 are so pathetic. You can see the stupidity in that one guy's eyes.

No map editor no buy, cos i be damned if I am gonna play the same shitty style of maps maps as BF3! Its about time they allowed the community create better maps. Instead we get the same old shit!
Keep dreaming dude. The days of AAA game publishers allowing map editors to be including with their products are over

It was off the hook in Borderlands 2 as well...I actually had to set it from high to medium, as it tossed so much shit up it was hard to see where you were aiming sometimes
I just watched a video demonstrating the effects and holy shit, cloth tearing!

I thought this looked like an interesting mix of Counter-Strike and CoD so no clue what you guys are on about. The terrain traversal looks much more flexible and interesting than Brink too, I've been waiting for a game with proper wall running and stuff.
Yeah I don't understand the hate towards it. Wonder if there would be any if the developer and publisher were different.

rockstar intentionally and maliciously undermines PC gaming and has no reason to change
If they are working on PS4/Xbone releases as well, then that would be the reason for a PC delay. Same architecture, really.

Now, if companies with a PC release track record neglect to make PC versions for games that come out for the new consoles (minus exclusives), then they're truly sticking it to PC gamers.

SiN Episode 1 had it's moments and some of the guns definitely felt beefy, but it just lacked soul I think.

The original SiN wasn't amazing or anything, but I found it more fun. I remember the music being super badass, too.
