I've never seen this until now.. not sure how.

It looks really, really impressive from just watching a bit of this update video, especially if it's only one guy, which sounds like the case, coming from you guys.

Like he said in this video, you can just hang out in the middle of space and relax and be content.
This could be a calming and medication technique FFS.
I'm really digging this.

Been enjoying Far Cry 4 it's a lot like 3 with some great improvements & some bad decision making as well. Not a bad game though. The bad guy in this one is really charismatic & the acting is very good.
Troy Baker IS pretty fantastic. I just wish studios would stop having him use his normal tough guy protagonist voice less, and let him branch out more like he's done in FC4, Batman (Joker) and Shadow of Mordor

That's a fair argument, but since you can do this in-game to just about every single character you meet, both male AND females, it has NOTHING to do with misogyny.
Yeah, I know, my comment wasn't about misogyny or sexism, it was just a comment on violence.

I would have more respect for this article if the Author just said, 'hey maybe we shouldn't be glorifying violence to this extent, because X,Y and Z'.
As much as I'm going to sound like a hypocrite - because I was blowing arms off in Wolfenstein last night - I'd be inclined to agree with an article like that.

With such a realistically realized virtual world that is GTA V, it's getting a bit scary how tangible the violence has become.

Graphics are only getting more realistic, and at this rate in no time we'll be able to swing the claw end of a hammer into an innocent's face, embedding it in their skull, their mouth opening and eyes rolling back as they crumple to the ground in a heap, blood gushing from their lifeless body.

I don't really see that as a healthy activity, virtual or not

They definitely outsource the nicer pieces of concept art, because what they show off that's done by the actual team - like a weapon render that looks more dated than guns from CS 1.6 - are all pretty bad.

They're essentially showing nothing and expecting everything

I'm probably going to get a Geforce 970 for Christmas which means a free copy of this or Assassin's Creed: Unity (the other option, Far Cry 4, I already own).

This doesn't sound like much of a choice now that these are out. I don't even like the good Ass Creed games so it is encouraging that you compare this to TDU as I quite liked those games.
Well if neither game is apparently good, might as well go for the purdier one to test your 970

Uncharted 4 may be the game that makes me buy a PS4

There were at least 10 times in that video where I was in genuine awe

If you go to Steam now, Wolf is #2. Glad to see it, because the game is the best shooter I've played in a while. Super polished gunplay with great writing, acting and graphics. Just awesome

The engine feels clunky. The same awkward moving issues, particularly when trying to jump around scenery, have existed since Oblivion if not earlier. Separate indoor and outdoor areas is quite dated and unmodded it has poor detail at distance. It's far from a write-off, but I'd like to see a lot more progress for The Elder Scrolls 6 - but presumably it will be next-gen so non-visual stuff won't be a priority.
Movement is very floaty, and melee combat is pretty clunky. The pretty poor animations don't help much, either.

But it's a testament to the game's design that it can sell so many copies and still have some pretty glaring faults.

I do hope they hire some decent animators next time around, though.

HERE is a video with a lot of combat footage and some other stuff, as well as a guy with a less than appealing voice explaining a lot of the gameplay features.

I didn't watch a lot of it, but he does talk about factions and police that are persistent according to you actions in the galaxy

Some of us actually LIKED the original 360 controller. Those of us who don't have tiny hands
The original 360 controller is the best controller I've ever held. The placement of everything is pretty much perfect.

Using a PS3 controller in comparison is a nightmare. The triggers are horribly designed.

This uses the Chrome engine right? Call of Juarez Gunslinger runs flawlessly on my rig with a 570, I can't imagine this game being that much of a hog.

The Art Direction this time around will no doubt be unbelievable. Imagine the ceilings!

Who are 2K?

Release a friggin game once in a while!

Like Mafia 3
There was a rumour (debunked by 2K) that 2K was helping Rockstar with GTAV in terms of mission scripting, and maybe R* would return the favour with Mafia 3.

Mafia 3 is probably in development, and regardless of any rumours, I'm really, really excited

It's much more disturbing killing someone with an axe from the first person, believe me.
Yeah I saw some footage of a guy killing civilians with a knife. I won't lie, I was a bit disturbed.
The first person view really connects you to the act.

Though when playing Wolfenstein, per se, it doesn't seem as terrible. In fact, it's awesome :p

Am I the only one who thinks it's kinda fucked up that Rockstar put in the effort for first person sex...
Kinda trashy, even for GTA.

That said, I can't wait to play this game

From the sounds of it, the car handling is really awful.
Somewhat important, seeing as it's a racing game.
