I am cautiously optimistic about this one. I hope they have a beta test of some sort I can get into.

Yeah. The editor for campaign creation is going to be the real litmus test. So far I'm cautiously optimistic too.

Yeah, gonna restart with a fire godlike monk. Was going to go monk anyway as it's always my first choice where possible.

Installing it right now! Going Cipher, dunno which race!

Well, it took years, millions of dollars and a hell of a lot of hard work, but someone finally made a kickstarter that Cutter likes...

; )

Should be finished downloading when I get home from work this afternoon just in time for the weekend, woot!

Let's not get ahead of ourselves, shall we?

It's very good so far. Love the environments and the writing. Not sure I'm feeling the love for the Cipher so far however. I suspect it's a class you need more than a few levels in to really open up. I am not liking the RT combat even with the slow speed. I'm still all about that bass, er uh I mean turn-based. Shit flies by so fast I have no idea if my spells and skills work half the time without looking at the combat text. It also makes it a real PITA using food/potions. I'd like to see them last significantly longer than a few minutes.

I'll keep going on the Cipher for now but I may start again with a monk. I understand drooids are supposed to be thee OP class atm.

Only a short matter of time before they scrap the PCA I'd wager. Probably after the next major false flag operation. So, a year after Obama is gone and whoever is the GOP prez this time around. Just wait.

How do you guys find the time to watch TV shows? I seem to barely have enough time to eat and sleep.

That's cause you hang out at the beach all day, Bob. We in the winter territories are stuck inside for a couple of months a year. Speaking of which, it's actually snowing atm. Effing sigh.

That's reflective of bad government. At least the main infrastructure is actually there. And at least he wouldn't have to pay 60 grand for it like the Comcast would charge him. Comcast is not only fucking consumers on that end but also screwing them taking their tax dollars in forms of subsidies and tax breaks to do all this stuff to begin with. So how you figure government and muni broadband are worse than that simply boggles the mind.

I'll check out Saul when the season is done. He was the best part of BB. So far I'm still loving Vikings and really digging on Black Sails too, yarr!

And a little over an hour to go for PoE as of this writing. Effing finally!

Wow, that's just insane. Poor guy. He should have known better to take them at their word and definitely got something in writing. And this is precisely why the net has to be regulated and nationalized.

Valve's 'perfect hiring' hierarchy has 'hidden management' clique like high school

The only reason Valve succeeds is GabeN had the foresight to introduce a digital distribution platform first. If there were any real competition to Steam today it'd be a very different story. Valve is a terrible company IMO regardless of how much they make. And unfortunately their anti-consumerist policies are in lockstep with the big pubs who won't sell their games anywhere else. Going forward with any future crowdfunding it should be a requirement - set by consumers - that they obtain their end product either portal free entirely - direct DL from the dev - or on a good service like GoG.

I broke down and read that review, pretty much spoiler free(general stuff such as the Might stat is discussed), and it describes some pretty good mechanics in the game.

The only problem is, I am already second guessing my Firearms Rogue... Cipher sounds like it may have the most options in and out of combat! Arrgh!

Are you sure that's not correct answer?

Heh, I'm going Cipher for sure. I love psionics and it's never around in enough games - it'd be so natch for Shadowrun - so I'm totes in! Just not sure what race yet.

Not to mention they absorb the costs on regional pricing to keep it fair for everyone. GoG fucking rocks, which is why the big pubs want nothing to do with them. The more we can all buy on GoG and not Steam the better!

Last Week Tonight with John Oliver: Municipal Violations.

That's just the worst. It's essentially a backdoor tax on the poor, and I loathe the continuous movement toward privatization. Paying $1000+ for $150 fine because you can't pay is so wrong. You should either pay or do community service, not be continuously fined.

Yeah, and add to which insurance gets to F you in the A for 3 years. How the fuck is that remotely fair? I have to use insurance but you're going to increase my premiums 100% for 3 years for 1 fucking ticket?

See, this is where once again the more socialist democracies have it right with graduated fines. What's a fine to someone with oodles of money? They'll either just pay it or get a lawyer to bear it where the rest of us, again, get F'd in the A. Well in places like Norway someone making 100k - for example - would get a $1000 dollar fine instead of $100. While not perfect, it's at least a fairer system.

With New Nonstick Coating, the Wait, and Waste, Is Over

Okay, is it just me, or is the company name a bit off: "LiquiGlide?" Not sure I want to pour anything edible out of a bottle that's been made by LiquiGlide.

Get anodized aluminum cookware instead. You can use metal utensils with it. It's the way to go.

Hey 100,000 is a lot of money. The tech demo looked like a knock off mobile game.

Anyway I think they have a good attitude. They know why it didn't work and they'll try better next time.

I hope that doesn't just translate into, 'We need better marketing.' when what they need is a better game. I don't know what tech they were using for what they showed but it honestly looked like ass. There's no excuse not to have something nice these days with Unity, Source 2, UE4, etc. It leads me to believe that these guys, while probably solid game designers, are way behind the times in terms of tech.

The fact Timmy scammed people then defended Molyneux to rationalize his own scumminess only compounds the scumminess of the scum factor. In fact I'd bet Timmy is the mayor of Mos Eisley.
