Got confused with the Islanders foe a second - as I always do - and was thinking what an amazing dynasty they had with Bossy, Potvin, Savard, etc.

Another console ARPG-shooter? No thanks. Maybe when it hits the bargain bin.

It seems a lot like Human Revolution. This is a very good thing! You played it right? Cause the PC version didn't feel like a console port at all.

My only concern is the story ark doesn't seem to follow Human Revolution in a concise way. Although we will find that out for sure later.

The waist high cover? Obvious linear pathing? The Boss fights? What part didn't feel like a console game again? Even the story was pretty weak. I didn't hate it, but I'm definitely not a fan, so yeah, I can easily forgo this until the bargain bin.

I picture it as being something like Skyrim, only a bit more interactive and with other players.

Someone's been drinking the Chairman's koolaid.

Guess Americans have to wait until murderers and rapists start getting cases dropped before someone brings the FBI into lines. If this shit was as innocuous as the claim there's no way they'd be fighting this hard. That means it's all the more necessary it's revealed.

What about the illegal surveillance of EVERYONE ELSE ON THE PLANET?
See I don't have a problem with that and I wouldn't call it illegal. Countries have spies. They have spy organizations. They spy on other countries. That's what they do. I'm glad the US does it. We crossed a line sometime back and started spying on our own citizens and yes I have a big problem with that. The Stasi is a good cautionary tale and Snowden did a great public service by revealing how far down that path we've gone but no, we're still a long way from Stasi 2.0.

No, you're not a long way away, you're already there and have been for a long time now. You can be interred at any time indefinitely without being charged. You government is spying on a scale the Stasi could only dream of. Torture? That's nothing new for the US either. Illegally invading sovereign nations? Par for the course for the US. And while governments keeping an eye on governments is one thing, I can tell you the rest of the world isn't cool with being spied on by the US in their own countries.

That was nice of Anet. I'm sure Roberts will do the same thing for people in SC...and only at $10,000 a pop!

Ok, George, I think you can safely admit now you'll never finish writing GoT and any ending for it will just be the TV series now. If he was going to do anymore TV stuff he should get them to do a Wildcards series. That would do incredibly well.

Obviously a vegan diet is better all around and gee, big surprise the GOP and meat-industry come out screaming bloody murder over it. And this is why America can't have nice things. I'm going to be cutting way back on meat now for health and budget. It's just too effing
expensive now anyway, and it's only going to get worse.

Golly if there's one part of travelling the cosmos that'd be neato keen it'd be doing in a ship with solar sails. Something Spelljammerish.

As a longtime fan of the Blasters I've always liked a Dark Night.

Nothing worse than under a door handle? What about in the turlet?

Reckless how? By releasing a bunch of metadata that shows the NSA captures everything, even the most mundane and useless stuff there is? He had to release a broad swath of information to show how deep it runs and if it were just him vetting it he'd have been doing it for years. He wasn't working with and releasing information about clandestine spy ops in the field.

Does anyone know if you can file a complaint with the FTC (or FCC) if your ISP isn't delivering the speeds you're paying for? I pay for 20Mbit, but after around 5:30pm until after midnight it's so overloaded I'm lucky to get up to 2Mbit. I've complained to the ISP, but they insist nothing is wrong. They keep wanting to send a "technician" out every time I contact them, but one has already come out and found no problem. No shit you're not going to see the problem when you come out at 3pm when it's not overloaded.

You could but it likely wouldn't go anywhere. It's why ISPs advertise speeds as "up to X Mbps". Doesn't mean you're going to get it.
