Sociopathic Republican doesn't care about anyone or anything except money - par for the course. Liberal tree hugger whines about it when the common sense solution is easily available as Creston said - par for the course again.

And people wonder why this my favourite emote around here?

If the tech is good enough for a car to be self-driving then I'd totally sleep in it while it was driving. Totally.

Pipe down Cuter, its a small delay as they note in the headline which you didn't read.

He always posts the same thing with any update about Wasteland 2. Plenty of games to play on multiple platforms in this day and age while waiting...

Yeah, and their lack of professionalism is worthy of scorn. Just because you eat shit and call it ice cream doesn't mean some of us have higher standards.

Get a grip you little drama queen, it's a 2 week delay to fulfill kickstarter rewards. Can you put your own pants on in the morning or does it require a few posts complaining about the effort first?

You must be new here, well you've met Cutter.....
PS He bitches.....a lot

A) Why don't you have that moron on ignore like everyone else? All he does is troll and flame.

B) If any of you assholes - that always say this idiotic shit look at my post history - my positive posts far outweigh the negative. I don't bitch. I post legitimate gripes. These assholes have delayed this at least 3 times now that I recall. And now they're delaying it yet again so they can send out non-essential crap when they can easily send out the game. No, they're delaying intentionally yet again because they're not finished. Everything I've seen from the beta has left me entirely underwhelmed and feeling like I wasted my money. That's a legitimate beef. See the difference or do I have to draw it for you in crayon, champ?

In vacuum?

he might be referring to the thing they did in the movie 2010 when they had to slow down and basically skimmed off the planet's atmosphere it was kind of awesome because the whole ship was shaking and everybody was shaking and shitting themselves I thought that was one of the coolest parts of the movie.

Am I the only one who really wants this EmDrive to actually work? This is probably the best news i've seen in months.

It works. It's only been the US that somehow still seemed to believe it doesn't work, even though it was already validated more than once.

The theory has been around basically since the 60s, but it took awhile for man to build a working prototype. A similar concept exists for a drive that works by pushing aways photons, IIRC.

It gives only a tiny, tiny amount of thrust, but once you're out of the gravity well, it's plenty to propel basically anything. And since you can keep thrusting indefinitely, you could theoretically get up to quite near light speed with it. (I'd just hate to have to sit there and wait the 7000 years it'd take to slow back down again. )

Air braking.

When Linux becomes as easy as Windows and games run the same way under it then people will adopt. Otherwise it'll always be a pipe dream.

There are plenty of distributions and Windowing Shells that are as easy as windows. The problem is that Linux has too many competing standards and formats that make it difficult for new users to make sense of it. The amount of redundant effort for certain things can hurt as much as it can help.

There ya go. Anyone from the outside looking in doesn't even know where to start. With Windows you know exactly what you're getting. As open as Linux is, that's also one of its major problems.

As far as that Mad Max trailer went, it was fucking awful. Someone on IMDB said it best....

"The Fast and the Furious 8?

Doesn't seem to have the key ingredients of the originals:

RUTHLESS VILLAINS, not just rude and smelly with weird clothes, but absolutely fecking ruthless gangs who do the worst things imaginable

dark, gritty apocalyptic setting: desperation which tests people's humanity, will to survive, as well as their ingenuity to survive with items only found and scavenged

instead looks like:
pretty colored smoke bombs
emo choir music
healthy looking benetton models
cars fresh from the Pimp My Ride shop

I'm hoping the story is a little more inventive than a simple "race to the oasis" plot.

LOVE Road Warrior and Mad Max, but this.... meh. We'll see"

And the guy after him said it looked like some shitty dubstep video.

I would have much prefered to see this set shortly after the period of the original where things are really starting to get bad but not all the way gone yet. We need more villains like the Toecutter and the Nightrider - We remember the Nightrider! And they should have a new pal like the Goose.
