Everyone loves EFNY, but they never should have made LA, or at least the way they did. Man, that was bad. And I'd dearly love to see someone like Rockstar pick up the rights to do an EFNY game. Wouldn't even have to change a thing. Think about how cool that'd be exploring Manhattan as a prison, fighting and avoiding gangs, cannibals, etc.

They should ban those plastic microbeads. Zero need for them at all. I make mine with natural exfoliates - various plant seeds, ground pumice and loofah, salts, etc. I feel sorry for people who use that crap on their on bodies.

Must have been your avatar, as all this time I thought you were a man.

I am a man. A man who makes and sells soaps and cosmetics. A man who also cares about his appearance. Women of quality like that.

Wow, I have another stalker. Tell me, Harlock, do you have a shrine to me in your bedroom as well?

Lousy Smarch weather.

And it wouldn't surprise me in the least if it were true. You think the gubment would ever release something like that? Maybe a few hours before impact but that's about it.

Would a road full of automated cars all get out of the way of the emergency vehicle? Yup.

So the cars would drive up onto the sidewalk? Only if they're coded for that, and then what happens when it conflicts with its programming because their people on the sidewalk? No in certain cases like this you absolutely require human judgement.

Would this ever happen since stupid people are no longer controlling the cars? Nope.

Yes it would and there are plenty of ways it could happen. Again there are 1000 reasons not yet thought of why you'd need to immediately take control of your vehicle.

Automated cars should end up more like "Minority Report" or "I Robot" and not so much "Demolition Man". The purpose is to have the entire fleet under control (and then operate more efficiently at higher speeds), not just automate one car on the road.

Yes, but even in those scenarios people still have the ability to control the vehicles and with good reason. What happens when you're attacked in a tunnel by a truckload of USR Robots and you have to shake them off the car?

Is what I said not true? Is it any less valid? No? So what's your point?
You want to waste your time with useless clickbait articles you just go knock yourself out, scooter.

Computer security has advanced has it? So that's why every day we hear about major break-ins and thefts, malware galore, that the password system we use now is terribly unsecure.

I would sure hope so. While I'm an advocate of the "let computers drive" idea, I would never, ever, EVER get in a car that has no way for me to take control if it should become necessary.

Yep, no chance in hell. What if you need to get someone to a hospital immediately and the car is putting along at the speed limit? Yesterday I saw an Ambulance actually drive up onto the sidewalk and along it to get all the backed up traffic. Would a self-driving car do that? Nope. What if there's an oncoming vehicle coming at you and you need to speed up to get out of the way?

Sure for your day to day routine self-driving cars would be great but there are a ton of reasons you should be able to override and control them in a heartbeat if need be. It was like the cop cars in Demolition Man.

And this is why I would never invest in MS. If they focused solely on PC gaming they'd be immensely more profitable.
