That's the best they can do? LOL! Well, there's $100 down the drain for the suckers who bought one. |

It's PWE that's going to kill this game - or rather, already has. Had Cryptic did a proper NWN followup they would have made a fortune on this. |

Techie714 © wrote on Mar 26, 2013, 13:27: I dont know about you guys but I'm so tired of these 8bit games that have been coming out lately. Many of these indie developers make some amazing games with great mechanics & just god awful graphics. Often when I mention this in other threads I get the following "OMG it's not about the graphics it's about the AMAZING games these people are making" Ummm yea but I need at least 2007 era graphics to really enjoy the game..lol. I think minecraft is an amazing concept & would actually love to play it if the game had Farcry 1 graphics, at least. Maybe I'm just in the minority here? No, you're in the majority. Fuck the hipster douchebags that claim they love everything that's indie - at least for appearance sake. We had 8 and 16bit games because that's all the hardware supported, it's not what we wanted. If that were the case 3D game cards would have never caught on. We all wanted brilliant graphics and were just waiting for someone to deliver them. Remember how apeshit everyone went with the arrival of 3D cards! Much like Fleetwood Mac we're never goin' back again. This game is clearly designed for cells only. They can have their 8bit crap while I'm enjoying gloriously gorgeous graphics from Project Eternity, et al. |

Also, too: much better than Lifelock! Still it would be good to keep one or two around for EMERGENCIES!!! |

A Sim City "homage" would be very cool, but I'm guessing it would probably be a very substantial investment too. And who could do it? |

Hah! That Lenny Kravitz thing was cool. That's humour when he jumps on the drums and shows the kid how to pound it out. Amazing when he starts belting it out at the end. What a voice the man has! Love all the chicks give him a scream and how the crowd just gets huge. Must be tough being a rock star, eh?
If you could take a chopper to near the summit of Everest and scale the last few feet would that qualify as ascending it?
Always wanted to go to Coney Island and have a Nathan's dog there.

Cool, I'm stoked for Ass Creed 4 after 3. The naval combat - whilst simple - is hella fun! I hope they can make it a bit more complex for this. And the island exploration and underwater stuff is just icing on the cake. There better be lots of rum drinkin', walkin' the plank, battenin' down the hatches, and shiverin' the timbers! Yarrr!
Edit: If they were smart they should release it on Talk Like a Pirate Day in September! |

That ARMA 3 alpha is impressive. The only downside is seems like it'll be a big time commitment to get into and get good. Not just a drop in and play for an hour sort of thing. |

I guess Amazon figures it will work as lube in a pinch. Hah! I was going to say it should include lube instead! |

How much government services is someone using by buying off Amazon, out of state? Not much. The UPS truck needs a road, I guess. But UPS pay for that with their taxes since the UPS truck uses the road, not the customer. The customer isn't using much, if any, government services that I can think of at the moment.
A brick & mortar storefront needs water/sewer, police, fire, etc etc.. I guess this has all been debated many times already.
It uses a lot more than the the road, and no, UPS doesn't pay for the road. It's likely they not only don't pay taxes but get subsidies instead. Regardless, there are a million other things involved than just a UPS truck. |

Yeah, there's something wrong with Youtube embeds, I'm experiencing it too. I figure they'll resolve it in short order so it's not that big a deal.
And yeah, those beauty among the ruin shots are sweet. I was looking at more shots of the Tunnel of Love in the Ukraine and the ones in fall and winter are even more incredible! |
