Was going to post the same response below but someone beat me to it:
"It's like watching a 6th grade bully telling a high school kid to go pick on someone his own size, when the high school kid interrupts the 6th grader from beating up a 3rd grader."

Bang on. Stop obstructing my ability to obstruct others!

It's part of their whole cognitive dissonance. It's why they call themselves pro-life when they're really anti-choice. The GOP & their suppoerters - the reason working class Americans can't have nice things.

Yep, media can certainly do that. It's also the best platform available for grifters like Anita to tap into sympathetic people and com them out of their money. You just have to love the comments from the perpetually offended SJWs. Christ what would these people do if they didn't have something to be upset over. Here's a perfect example from someone aptly named 'RantKid'

Are we implying that this isn't a change needed for males as well? Can we stop pretending that many of these issues solely victimize one group? Cultural distortions victimize everybody.

Take porn for instance. Sure, most porn blatantly objectifies women, but we have to remember that it's the viewers (namely, young men) who are going to come out of it with poor judgment and distorted values. The sooner we stop marginalizing groups of people, the more honest the discussion can be. "Discussions" like these are not honest nor productive. It's finger-pointing.

Rolleyes

Yes, because anything that doesn't portray anyone in a positive light must obviously be a distortion. Why the fuck are these assholes even playing games, or at least games targeted to white males to begin with? I don't watch soap operas, do you hear me bitching about they exclude men as a target audience? And women in porn are victims? They control the fucking industry! And at the end of the day it's fantasy. It's all just pretend. Only really stupid people don't grasp that simple fact. It's the reason we don't go around dropping anvils on people after watching Bugs Bunny cartoons. If you can't differentiate fantasy versus reality then the medium and its content aren't the problem.

And lastly, who the fuck is she to dictate terms? If this is so viable and there's such a market for it then shut up and prove it. Go make these social-justice games and see how well they do. Stop whining about it and prove it. These are the worst sorts of assholes. As much as they go on about equality and freedom, and yada yada yada, they're the ones engaging in discrimination, censorship, etc. They're the biggest fucking hypocrites there are. Freedom doesn't mean being free from being offended. That's what a tolerant society is, you don't have to like it, but you do have to tolerate it.

Ladies and Gents lets simma down nau. I've followed this for a while, but I've been wondering what exactly goes into a 300 page booklet for Net Neutrality. Others are wondering the same thing. On the surface, it may appear to be an "FU" note to ISPs, but like everything the government does, there is always an ulterior motive to slip in loose language. As loose as the 2001 AUMF and Indefinite Warfare for the see-able future. Trillions of debt that will never be paid off and the economy continually circling the drain in the "recession" as the Fed Reserve masturbates over QE. As they say, "Everything is Awesome" in La La Land. Obama is the same Oligarch club as the last Presidents (Bush Sr., Clinton, Bush Jr.), with the same usual "AmeriKa is Exceptional" Agendas. Fascism baby.

Where are you people coming up with 300 pages of regulations?

Edit: Woops hit post by accident. Anyway it's 8 pages long.

I can see some of you youngsters don't understand how the internet started. It's called the ARPANET. So all you anti-gubment/sky-is-falling/socialism is evil types should get off the internet now and go live in a shack somewhere off the grid.

Yup, the ACA website was shitty. Since you hate the government so much you must not:
- Drive on the roads & bridges gov't builds
- Eat the food that the gov't tests
- Breathe the air that the gov't protects
- Drink the water that the gov't regulates
- Live safely in the protection gov't provides

- Yes, We the people gave tax dollars to fix roads, bridges and government Buildings (though we need far fewer)We did not give the permission to regulate every aspect of our lives, however.

- I don't need the government to test my food. I can shoot my own, thanks.

- Yes... I truly believe that you believe the government controls the air we breathe. and can stop polars bears from drowning by building it a raft made from $100 bills.

- Water falls from the sky, clean and pure. I don't require a rain dance from the messiah Obama and all the chemicals and shit they add to it.

- I can live safely on my own, thanks to the second amendment.

You can go back to praying to your holy government... I have some warframe to play before the internet becomes slow as crap and I have to pay data usage fees and taxes like europe.

Oh yeah, no more using the internet seeing as that's a government invention too. Have fun banging rocks together.

I'm sure you're heading back to the motherland, Russia. I hear communism is making a huge comeback these days. You can stand in line and wait hours for toilet paper again, just like the good old days.

Well at least they have toilet paper. See, when you were working 14 hour days for a pittance you could barely survive on you couldn't afford luxury items like toilet paper. Seriously though, why don't you move to Somalia where you won't have any of the 'burdens' to contend with and you can sink or swim on your own? I mean, it's worked out so well for them hasn't it? I understand Mogadishu is virtual paradise!

QFT....

"Just as a newspaper is entitled to decide which content to publish and where, broadband providers may feature some content over others," Verizon further said.

This is the single most terrifying thing I've ever read. Verizon really think that when I request a web page my ISP can decide to not to give it to me, change the words, inject ads in to it? That's just...just... mental.

Come on. Do they really think people don't get it by now? Sure you can earn everything in game - at a glacial pace designed to drag out over decades - or you can just buy shit for real money instead. It's called freemium. So whilst it may be free to play, there isn't a whole of point unless you're not doing anything for the next few decades and don't mind grinding that long.

Everything the government touches turns to shit and this will be no exception.

Try and be a bit more reactionary why don't you? Infrastructure, labour laws, foof and drug regulation, etc. - while all are far from perfect, they're a damn sight better than none at all. Or maybe you think life was better before all of that? Yes, I'm sure life was much better under the robber barons and other assorte tyrants.

It's a good start but doesn't go nearly far enough. The internet is too important to be left to the virtual monopolies. They had their kick at the can and they blew it. They've taken god knows how many billions in tax dollars that were granted to make things better and more affordable and simply blew it all on coke and hookers leaving the common man up shit creek without a paddle. Nationalize it. Everywhere. Make it a global utility.

Beyond municipalities no longer being hostage to monopolies will any of this really make a lick of difference? I'm sure the inevitable shitstorm to follow from the GOP corporate lackeys will do their utmost to undo all of this ASAP. If they can get a prez in next election it'll pretty much be guaranteed. Still, I wonder why Wheeler did this? Scrooged? Finally realized how important this really was and grew a conscience?

That's not even approved yet, is it? And all the comments the FCC put out for oppose this. Comcast's definition of "optimistic" sound more like "smoking crack" than "has a positive outlook."

Sounds like the fix is in.
