Yes, yes, yes, gentlemen. That's all well and fine, but what about BEWBS?

I'm concerned with Bats first point, and that is BEWBS. BEWBS is always the overriding concern.

Yes, money for weapons of mass destruction that'll never be used or 100 mil for the good of the people - who own all of that stuff to begin with - yeah, poor ol' America.

As I've said many-a-time, there's a lot I love about the ol' US of A, but this is the sort of shit that really gets on my tits about it.

Yeah, she is the creative force behind one of the greatest console franchises ever. I'd be surprised if there wasn't follow up.

I'm really curious as to why she was forced out. I'm sure she won't stay unemployed for long. Good luck to her.

A single game on a single platform that most people don't know about or will ever experience? It may be great but she's still an unknown to most people.

39 is young, you punk!

Hell, I recall 38, but not 39. 40 was like 30, anticlimactic. So I'm in my 40s now? Ok, now what. Don't feel much different from 5 years ago.

But the crown jewel of the collection is the 16,000 pieces of fine art the Army owns.

Don't they mean the US taxpayer owns?

The entire collection could be made accessible to the public, if the funds for a museum could be raised.

Are they joking?

However, there are major fundraising hurdles to jump before the museum can be built. The foundation’s president recently told the Washington Post that it has raised $76 million of the $175 million required for the museum and predicts the museum could open in 2018. The plan is to build the museum at Fort Belvoir.

So the US Army's budget alone for 2013 was about 185 billion dollars. And they can't afford 100 million for this?!?! And yet they can waste billions on programs like Star Wars, the Crusader, et al. Well I suppose if the pigs in the MIC aren't getting their noses in the trough it can't be done, right? Now, this is criminal.

Particularly with Conan. The work lends itself brilliantly to CRPGs and that's what they should have started with, just a really cool Conan based CRPG. Imagine an isometric game like Fallout done in Conan's universe. It'd be pretty cool.

Yeah, that's all they have to do, update the graphics and audio and don't touch anything else. I fear they will not be able to resist "fixing" some things anyway.

Raising minimum wage doesn't not lose jobs, it cuts into profit. When you get to the point you're hiring employees in a small business then you're making enough money to support yourself and the business. If you can't afford another $50-$100 a week for an employee then you can't afford them to begin with.

And I don't care if meat and dairy is a guaranteed death sentence because I'd rather die happily after eating that stuff for a few years than a few miserable decades of grazing on wheatgrass just for a few more years longevity.

Any small business owners here with cross-border business experience. I'm trying to find what it's going to take to bring my products to the US on a limited basis - weekends at craft fairs/farmers markets - initially. I'm surprised by what a PITA it is finding this information online. Hell, I even wrote the US Embassy here asking if they had any advice and the bastards never replied. I'm guessing I have to speak to customs and the IRS for sure, but I'm wondering how it would work state by state as I'd like to do a bordertown circuit from Milwaukee to Buffalo.

Buffet talks about a lot of shit, like how the rich don't pay enough taxes but I don't seem actually doing anything about it. And yes, society needs a living wage, not minimum wage. It's been demonstrated time and again that a living wage, indexing life costs to wages, etc. works amazingly well for everyone in all those nordic "socialist" countries.

I'm confused Beamer, Warren Buffet is a crook, IE, Legalized Crook, bitcoins or not.

You do realize that "legalized crook" is an oxymoron. Only doing illegal things makes one a crook. If society has chosen to legalize what he does then he isn't a crook irregardless of what that may be.

Irregardless isn't a word.

Well, that'll be your little secret then.

Merriam-Webster - Irregardless

irregardless: (adverb)

"Irregardless originated in dialectal American speech in the early 20th century. Its fairly widespread use in speech called it to the attention of usage commentators as early as 1927. The most frequently repeated remark about it is that “there is no such word.” There is such a word, however. It is still used primarily in speech, although it can be found from time to time in edited prose. Its reputation has not risen over the years, and it is still a long way from general acceptance. Use regardless instead."

Spoken by someone who's never worked a restaurant in her life, much less a high end one. Most chefs are insane, abused and abusive assholes who are both drunks and/or drug addicts. They're fucking tyrants and they're incredibly myopic. Their experimenting is predicated on a foundation of absolutes. They don't just throw a bunch of shit in a pot and see what happens. It's very generally minor innovations on established norms. And its far easier controlling costs on creating a single dish or cocktail then an entire game. And while it has appeal to a tiny few, most won't splurge on said creations. There are plenty of weird games out there no one has ever heard of...guess why.

A lot of times they run their kitchen to the detriment of the restaurant meaning everyone else has to pick up the slack. Long hours, late nights, high costs, high stress. No, it's really no fun at all and the only reason people do it is A) the money is really good and B) it looks great on a resume and for networking. It's certainly not for family oriented people looking for 9-5 with full benes and weekends off. As someone who's worked in both industries, I can say unequivocally that restos are far more hellish and not something to strive for as a business model. There's are plenty of reasons that restos fail more than any other business by a damn sight.

Why does gaming media keep treating this broad like she's some master game designer when she's done exactly jack? Afraid to come off looking like misogynists?
