Remember when people were buying into Obama's 'hope and change' bullshit? Amazing! People actually thought he'd be different. And what did The Who sing almost 50 years ago? "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss...." But...but...but...it's about terrorism! The country's at war! What was it Ron Perlman said as The Narrator? "War. War never changes." Who needs a Bill of Rights or privacy anyway, right?

And the next asshole that says, 'Well I have nothing to hide.' reply, 'Super so you won't mind if we put cameras all over your house and monitor every single thing you do 24/7, right? You won't be embarrassed about the rest of the world watching you go to the can, pick your nose, watch porn and wank/have sex, etc. And you won't mind if you do break the law - no matter how inconsequentially - we have you fined and/or arrested every time you do, right? And you further won't mind us selling all this information for profit of which you get none, yeah? Cool beans.

They'll sell a boatload more copies of this shitty game after the shitty movies comes out. So long as they make their profit they don't care. They don't make these games to be good or for love or longevity it's solely about the money.

If they actually spied on them then they're in criminal violation of wiretap laws as well. So where's the story on that?

I think it's even worse than that.. likely the problems were known since these cars were first designed.. and I REALLY doubt the other manufacturers are any different when it comes to diesel engines.

Ps.: Can't wait for the robotic formula E, these things can do moves that no human could.

I know Mazda had/has been trying to release a diesel on the US market for a few years now, but couldn't meet the emissions standards while maintaining a competitive price/performance ratio. Apparently neither could VW, but instead of not releasing a car, they cheated.

Which is probably why their cars sell so well in Cheatriot country.

Man that Broncos v. Pats game last night was fantastic. And what a finish! Love those snow games. Love that the Broncs stopped the Cheatriots perfect season march. So now that just leaves the Panthers. Huh, whoda thunk it?

I'd love a Tesla but I don't have 100k+ laying around for a car. The rest of them are made intentionally ugly and useless precisely so they won't sell. That way the manufacturers can say 'See, no one wants them.'
Start making Tesla style vehicles at 20K+ and everyone will buy them in droves.

It also resets your monitor refresh rate to 60 anytime you change something, grr. I was scrolling through web pages and getting this lag and thinking 'Wtf?' Check refresh rate, there we go. They obviously needed a lot more QA on these drivers first.

The on EA was working on a few years back was crazy. You could punch people through buildings and stuff. It would have been so awesome. We so need a superhero game like that.

How about committing billions to getting the rich/big biz to pay their fucking share of taxes? Then we won't need charity.

Riiiiiiigt, because those tax dollars would certainly make it to the charities, and NOT the politicians' special interests and/or exorbitant pensions.

No, what I'm saying is if they actually paid their share we wouldn't have need for any charities period.

That's the sole reason I just deal with ASUS stuff where possible. It's like every other PC manufacturer has gong to shit. When my Sapphire card died 6 months after I got it, did they send me a new one? No, some RMA rebuilt POS. ASUS doesn't fuck around - which is why they're #1.

How does JC3 have a 54% discount BEFORE release? Assuming $60 release price that is.

People were scoring Mad Max for $10 just shortly after release. I would not be surprised if the same thing happens to JC3.

Yeah, I've had a few good scores on newly released games through G2A. I got Witcher 3 for 20+ bucks off at release. Mad Max and Shadow of Mordor for 20'ush bucks each as well both at release.

...the Empire rising up in like 20 years during which time Obi-Wan turns into an old man,

I'd never thought of that one, great now there's one more thing that'll bother me about my favorite movie series. The prequels created a real mess for continuity and believability. A lot of which could have been avoided with some relatively minor changes to the prequel plot. Though I am left to wonder how much of the original trilogy's mystery and intrigue were just plot holes swept under the carpet by others involved with the film.

You're expecting logic when you have concepts like the Force - which is created by bacteria? Or that the most powerful battle station in the galaxy can be destroyed by shooting some lasers down a single hole? Star Wars was never meant to be anything other than theme park style fun.

It's good to see Counter-Strike: Global Offensive doing so well.

Meh... I guess. I just find it amazing there are still people alive, with a computer, that don't have CS:GO, or have already played enough of the previous versions to be utterly sick of the CS format.

$15 Elite:Dangerous was too tempting, I contributed to that #5 placement, I'm sorry to say.

Yeah, after several years of hardcore CS I have zero urge to ever go back.

As for ED I've been tempted to grab it too...then I read the negative reviews and remember why I don't buy it. At least ETS2 has some nice scenery. Sounds like they focused way too much on size and realism and forgot the fun.

Your life is going to McDonalds everyday until you die? Jesus that's sad.

It is actually very common. The elderly don't have many places to go for coffee at 4am-11am in places where most sit down and eat places open at 10-11 for the lunch crowd.

The one in the City where I work is packed at 0500 of elders having coffee and maybe a small bite like a potato thingie or something.

If you say "yea but coffee shops". No elderly individual worth their salt is going to drop $3+ on a coffee.

I understand, they're old and lonely and need to socialize but Jesus there's more they can do than just sitting around at McDonalds all day every day. It's a big world out there. Go volunteer doing light work a few hours a day.

Still better than being an angry, judgmental troll online.

What an empty, pitiful existence you lead.

Still better than being an angry, judgmental troll online.

When life has you down, you just go online to insult to increase your confidence! Thankfully it's amusing for us. Dunno how one stays that angry all the time.

I'm actually happy most of the time. I just get angry with idiots...like you. I don't suffer fools lightly. You're the one starting shit so that makes you the troll. Of course, you're too fucking stupid to grasp even that simple fact, no surprise there. Clowns like you always start trouble, than accuse other people of being the problem. You're just beyond pathetic. Dunno how you manage to keep going on day to day with such a sad, meaningless existence.
