They really just need to make distracted driving illegal. Just focus on your driving. How difficult is that? Fuck, there's so many people it seems to be a problem for without any distractions anyway. Over 5 million accidents, 2 million injuries, and 30,000 deaths per year should mean, yeah, no more distracted driving of any sort. No phones, no media, no eating, no makeup, etc. First offense $500 fine. Second offense, $1000 & lose your license for 6 months. Third offense $5000 and a year. After that you lose your license permanently.

I'm sick of being cutoff by assholes zipping across 3 lanes to make a turn at the last second because they weren't paying attention to where they were. Or missing that advance green because some fucking clown is texting on his phone or some vain cunt is putting her makeup on. Either that or allow us to shoot them.

I'd believe it. I almost got canned once because a PM I was dealing with from Amex complained about me - point in fact, lied her ass off about. Upper management was going to shitcan me without even hearing my side of the story, but fortunately my bosses all went to bat for me saying she must be lying or exaggerating because all the other clients I regularly dealt with loved me.

I was apoplectic over that one. Yeah, I can understand why people go ballistic. I give you my blood, sweat, and tears helping to grow your business and you fire me without even hearing my side of things? Yeah, I probably would have went to mine and Amex HQ with an AR15 after that. Hope this guy successfully sues the shit out of them. Worst part is, all they'll lose is a bit of money. They can virtually ruin someone's life and yet no one goes to jail. Fucking amazing.

And what, pray, will happen to the economy when a third of people everywhere are unemployed permanently? Welcome to the Revolution fuckers!

I know, right? In 1900, 75% of all Americans were farmers, now only 1%. 74% of people unemployed!!!!11111one.

False equivilancy. Those jobs shifted to factories and service as industrialization grew and consequently less people were needed to produce food which correspondingly grew more efficient. We're not talking about a shift or reallocation here, but a replacement - yet the people remain. That's bad. We're already at about a real 15% permanent unemployment in the first world. Double that or more and shit will goin' down.

Well, I'm certain that'll make both users of G+ happy to hear.

And that Government article is just offensive on so many levels. Is anyone still naive enough to think they live in the land of the free? Well I guess they never said free for whom, did they? Certainly free for the gubment to do whatever they damn well please.

I'd love to see some real screenshots of the game, and not screenshots of some CGI cutscene.

That being said, I am highly interested.

Wow, rather surprised WB would go this route, as the game is pretty solid on it's own and with Batman Arkham Knights right around the corner.

Why surprised? Arkham City was a cluster fuck, so they obviously want micromanagement all over this in the event it was more of the same.

I don't have a problem with demanding this sort of thing...so long as every reviewer makes it known - in very clear terms like the summation here - what it is that's being asked of them. Then people don't have to waste their time and go see real reviews somewhere else.

I'm burned out on this "issue". I just don't care anymore. None of it applies to me in the slightest and, quite frankly, I'm tired of this bullshit being spewed on the pages of this site as well as others that I regularly read for actual news about gaming, not faux drama.
I'd generally agree, right up until the point where people are calling me "worse than ISIS." Or that they "have more respect for ISIS" people like that just make sure that I'm going to keep going, and I'm going to continue to piss in their cornflakes over it. But just remember, if you're tired of it, ignore it.

That sounds like Isis talk to me!

Yeah because mutual understanding and civil communication never solved anything.

No it hasn't. It may have delayed some things for a while, but in the end human nature always triumphs - and that nature is base, greedy and violent. And Julio is 100% correct. They need us, not the other way round. Hell, I don't even read the vast majority of them anyway simply because of all the bullshit involved nowadays.

But in a new statement issued last night, Ubisoft explained that the producer had been "misinterpreted".

"We understand how senior producer Vincent Pontbriand's quotes have been misinterpreted. To set the record straight, we did not lower the specs for Assassin's Creed: Unity to account for any one system over the other," a Ubisoft spokesperson said.

And marketing assholes wonder why they're despised by everyone. Evasiveness, half-truths and outright damned lies and more damned lies. How the fuck do those people sleep at night? Oh right, they don't have a conscience or a soul.
