Listening to the podcast now, any direct technical questions asked the guy has no answers.

IW better do some damage control, but quite simply no dedicated servers = fuck you IW/Kotick!

Directors cut of the podcast

i miss the days when FREE patches would include content not just bug fixes.

I bet inside 5 years bug fixes won't even be free anymore.

another garbage console game, yawn.

one of the biggest reasons i'm a PC gamer is that button mashing, QTE's that play themselves don't appeal to me in the least.

Hmmmm high reses would be nice, ones that you could use on battle.net unlike the "widescreen hack" that will get you banned.

Causal gaming is BAD for the industry, but IMO consoles are just as bad, what happened to complex games with a actual learning curve?

But I'm a complete elitest, I'll be the first to admit it, I've even worse when it comes to music and movies.

Before the beta drivers the "server room" with PhysiX would net me a whopping 11FPS, now it runs at solid 55fps on the max settings, where as the"server room" would net me a solid 60fps with Physix off. Nice update nVidia!

Yup, i mean CoD4 MP was awful. Full of noob friendly junk, ie perks, stun nades, air strikes, helicopters, no skill weapons. Basically it took all the skill out and replaced it with spammable weapons to make it friendly to console gamers.

CoD5 is far superior, the bolts actually take skill instead of spraying and praying, like every gun CoD4 save the M16. CoD5 is superior simply because it offers bolt action (skilled) weapons back in the game. It might not be better then VCOD / DoD pre-source but its the best MP game to come out recently.

agreed, L4D's Doom like spawning of "zombies" is lame, this really seems to shallow for a "Valve" game, but then again Turtle Rock has only produced garbage. To call them "zombies" is a disgrace to all zombie fans.

CoD's zombie mode is fantastic, new lan champion IMO, its super fun with 3 friends. Good real zombies and what other game has you barricade and defend yourself against zombies? More maps would be nice, but still the best reason to BUY CoD5.
The SP is really bad, more linear then again game i can think of, but the MP is stellar, a lot better then the disaster CoD4, in fact best CoD game since the original thanks to bolt action rifles again, I just can't wait for the ProMod to come out!

thats the problem with gaming now, devs are only interested in making "sound buisness decisions" and if this game doesn't live up to wow its a failure?

id rather have a good game that turns a profit, but not a huge mainstream success, even the devs on mortal online said they are indie and are going to stay indie, and they have no interest in being big business.

what happened to integrity in gaming, everything has to be the next halo now.

"However, these boneheads need to learn that PvE is the bread and butter of the MOG world. Having a PvP server, or zones is fines, but the vast majority of players will never play in a PvP world only. "

i disagree, they are trying to do something different, make the game about PVP, not a tacked on afterthought.

I for one am extremely interested in this, if they put PVE foremost it would be like all other MMOs and id have no interest.
