if you are going to use fictional characters to help empower you then you might aswell choose someone with some decent powers/abilities like batman or even dr xavier.
more than anything you should belive in yourself. religion failed me, and anything i've ever achieved was through my determination and hard work not through a "miracle" or will of god.

LOL fanstatic. What are EA known for ? releasing unfinished games that need a million patches. And the patches cause even more bugs.
Bioware? well if nwn2 is anything to go by its a hive of bugs.
So EA + Bioware's new game will just be a series of patches (there won;t actually be a game), you just download a patch to fix a patch to fix the last patch which prepares you for a new patch to patch the first patch of patch.

yeah fair enough, its not exactly easy to upgrade a hdd in a lappy - you'd have to image your set up and then deploy that image onto the new disk if you want to save yourself from reinstalling everything, which isnt always bad to start fresh though.
Also i've always felt that you get a bit short changed with a gaming laptop, but thats the price you pay for mobility!

i doubt the demo itself will be 8 gigs, it just requires 8 gigs free to unpack, then install, and some space for a swap file probably.
Regardless you'd be crazy not to have 4-8 gigs free at all times.
Of course the demo will be full of high res textures and meshes, welcome to modern gaming. For a game to look good its going to eat up space, its that simple. And i'd rather it eat up space than performance.
With harddrives cheap as chips these days and there is no reason to complain. you can get a terrabyte of space for a fraction of the cost of any other component in your pc.

well actually there haven't been any games that max out the memory yet - crysis may just be the first. we just have to wait for some benchmarks to prove it, but common sense says that 320mb users will be turning down the texture details and resolutions before the 640mb guys. And I'm willing to bet that it will make a bigger difference in Vista with Aero switched on when you are playing games.
Even then it will probablly only be 15% difference at most.

ahh true i totally forgot about racing/flying games - i guess an xbox360 controller is good all-rounder.
But my main concern was, if you find yourself playing games that are xbox360 ports, and its more fun with a controller - then i'd assume you'd just play it on the xbox and not have to worry about installation and all of other pc concerns.
