i really thought the orginal was an awesome single player game, hopefully this is as good.

Even though the drugs in F3 were fictional, but in GTA4 Jacob is always smoking weed and that was OK. I guess Bethesda should have asked Rockstar who needed to be bought to look the other way.
Thats because the australian ratings board is made up of christian fanatics that seem to make up the rules as they go.
The main guy whos name i can't remember thinks that gamers will kill him (cause we are all murders training on our murder simulators...)
Anyway so to my amusement i'm hoping that he will die in a car accident because a 15 y.o. played gta 4 instead of an 18 y.o lol |

yeah its a real problem here when the politicians are christian fanatics

and they might altogether stop the low class anti breeding research program.... edit: oh wait, ignore that last one 
the funny thing is the consistency in this is just stupid - i don't know how dead space made it through the ratings board then, because the entire game is about pulling people apart limb by limb with circular blades and all sorts of cutting weapons - its easily one of the most violent games i've played.
And then fallout 3, people explode like mofo's with the bloody mess perk.
JUST DOESN'T MAKE ANY DAMN SENSE!

if every joe on the street is carrying an uzi then why need the army for defence?
perhaps this giant budget is for defending against aliens? or for developing the invisible cloak, which costs a lot of money, because every time they get it right, they have to start again since its dissappeared
america's inevitable downfall (hey it happens to all major powers eventually so don't take it the wrong way, sigh rome...)won't be from a military stand point - well not directly anyway.
it will be a combination of economic,Xtian fanaticism, health system and education failure, and environmental issues will push these even further - in other words it will crumble from the inside.
look at death rates - how many people die from unnecessary factors and diseases vs to how many people died from nine eleven.
oh what about all of the american lives lost by going to battle, more lives would have been saved by not going.....and lets not mention how many innocent people are dying in the middle east - it will be comparable to ww2 jewish massacre by the time its wrapped up - yeah different people different religion, same old story though.
EDIT :so summing up, what im trying to say is that, instead of spending an unimagionable ammount of $$$ blowing things up, that money could have easily been used to save lives by other means while securing a solid path for future growth, without pissing off the entire world.
anyway, hope this game turns out well because i'm really would to play a fun, but still realistic (hey even VR) military shooter game, you LOUD MOUTHED, BEADY EYED, OVERLY PATRIOTIC BASTARDS

wow a batman game that might actually be good i havent seen a fun batman game since teh adventures of batman and robin on the mega drive

I pre-purchased - and well after playing the demo im bloody sick of it!
Would anyone play 3 levels of a not-as-fun HL2 over and over again? There is just not enough depth in the game play.
Sure the zombies are in different spots each time, it keeps you on your toes but you always take the same path and its always the same gameplay regardless of how many zombies come out.
The guns are crappy and cartoony
The zombie mode in CoD5 is more fun - you actually get to barricade a house with wood and furniture.
I had high hopes for this one |

WTF is it with aussie politicians riding on the high horse of morality.
(One look at this guy and its obvious he would break everyone moral for a bit of sexual deviancy or a cash benefits.
We all know what politicians are really like!)
I’m getting really sick of Australia becoming a nanny state, water filtering, internet filtering, and of course this issue….. whats next? its stuff like this that causes mental disorders if you ask me!
Actually what really sickens me is that every single time they pull out the “think of the children” card. When it is blatently obvious that it is not doing anything to protect the children!
E.G.
In Fallout 3 I walk around and blow everyone head apart in any manner I want. Yet the games is MA15, meaning children can access it.
But if drugs are in it “oh no, ban it” - if you ask me thats lunacy.
YOU ARE NOT PROTECTING THE CHILDREN YOU IDIOTS! MERELY USING THIS EXCUSE AS A WAY OF FORCING THIS ONE SIZE FITS ALL BS ON US.
What ever happened to parents looking after their children, and being responsible for their actions - EDUCATION NOT CENSORSHIP.
Excellent article, when you break down its apparant that he has no idea what he is talking about, and yet he’s nice enough to force this on all of us.

Not only do FPS ported from console to PC have a terrible track record but this is EA we are talking about.
and thus i wont be tempted by these special pre-order editions and will be waiting for several reviews before purchase

the new redfaction game comming out has verymuch realistic physics - atleast for the buildings
if you shoot out the supporting parts of the structures or even a few to take it off balance it will go down.
they actually had to train their modellers in a bit of structural engineering so that their buildings wouldnt fall down
i don't know if it uses physx though

our work has upgraded to vista - apparat from a few really really old pre-NT pieces of software (which we run in a virtual pc now) everything is fine.
And maintenance - such as deployment ? its practically a press one button, walk away and do something else type deal.
Vista has actually saved us money because we don't need to pay for things like
Firewall software
Malware protection
Deployment tools
other security (encryption) tools
from a business point of view vista is fantastic (provided your old apps are compatible) which now isnt a problem cause most dev's are catching up.
