i'm ever so skeptical about bf3.
i was kinda hoping for a semi futuristic approach like with homefront. |

I was talking about BF mods specifically, BF mods (even the official expansions to some extent) always seem wonky.
sure i'll agree with you that many mods in other games bring creativity to the industry, but hardly any make it to the mainsteam (except of course the golden age of quake HL1 mods. but those days are long gone.)
EDIT: what I was getting at that, why have mod support so someone can make cool feature for the game which some players will use. When the developer could just implement that cool feature for everyone, instead of concentrating on mod support and level editors etc |

| there is no way Two worlds 2 is an 8 out of 10 game.... buggy as, and everything is so touchy in the game its hard to play enjoyably. |

BTW people that can't use "MIDDLE MOUSE" button, you've probably got your logitech software set to webscroll, or universal scroll or something like that.
Set it up "OTHER" -> " MIDDLE MOUSE"
that should fix it
or you can rebind it to another key if you got the latest patch

the magick casting system + minecraft + portal + bit of garry's mod + mmo = i'm never leaving my house again
edit = this game is awesome, no matter the bugs, its just so fun and that Ad is hilarious! |

you have to remember that a lot of indie developers aren't backed by an "ea" style company and don't have wads of cash.
they might already be in debt and need to release to get money to even make the patches.
I'm not saying that its an excuse to release a buggy game (especially when multiplayer is so stuffed!!!) but thats the reality. |

exactly, its a beta - if you don't like beta testing, then you won't like this, you usually don't see any games this early in the development process which is why people might be complainging about it - it just needs a bit more time in the oven
although there is no reason not to buy this game right now, the more $$$ the dev's have the faster the game will flourish.
The community is one of the best i've seen ever be apart of - yes there is lag, yes its not perfectly smooth, but you'll get a taste of how complicated and atmospheric the game is.
A patch is released every 1-2 weeks, and you can see that it has already come a long way in a short period of time - its gonna be fantastic! |

installed this last night to give it ago.
couldn't join a game for ages, so started a training mission vs a few other players.
The first tank i run into (literally) destroys my treads so i can't move, i shoot it a few times, and it does no damage cause he's got a much better thank. When he realises I can't hurt him, he keeps ramming into me until i explode.
uninstalled.
yeah i know its beta, but i guess i'm just not into tanks when I can play games that have tanks and soldiers and air units all in one go. |

i'd love for them to do a 4player co-op for the campaign
its already got 4 players in your squad throughout most of the game!!!!
and the tone and humour in the story is perfect for a 4 player co-op game.
