They ARE pretty poor quality videos...but "ArmA2" doesn't look like anymore more than a ArmA expansion pack from what is shown in them.

you forgot to follow that up with "UAVs can see through buildings". No, you just assume that corners and obstacles only exist within buildings.

serving in the army gives you eyes that can see around the corner and above obstacles? like the video game? amazing! Sure, it's called a UAV.

I haven't played either of those games, but from screenshots/videos I've seen I believe the loss of realism he's referring to is the fact that you can see around the cover from the 3rd person camera angle.

It'll be interesting to see how Death Knights play out. Technically, they're allied with the Scourge... so I guess they can't go to Alliance/Horde cities? It says they're the first Hero class... I wonder what else might come along.

What races will be allowed to play death knights?
We haven't yet made a final determination about which races can be death knights. However, the class will be available to both the Alliance and the Horde. Sort of answers your question in a roundabout way, perhaps? I'm not a WoW'er, so perhaps I'm mistaken.

Nin, I think they have 1st generation LCDs, discount LCDs they bought on black friday, and/or brand names none of us have ever heard of that they bought at Wal-mart, and wonder why the hell they're so shitty. If they can truly see such a gawking difference then I feel sorry for them having to endure LCDs everywhere else in their daily lives...the incredibly low refresh rates must bring them to having epileptic seizures.
In regards to "you previously were able to cope with the size of CRTs, why can't you now?" Perhaps I've gotten used to being able to utilize the extra workspace and see no reason in giving it back for no added benefit.

far less important that visual quality I see little to no difference in visual quality of a CRT versus an LCD, hence why you're a sensory elitist. You make it sound like an LCD is practically useless when CRT's have been, and are, history -- look at the world around you. You can stand on your soap box, but you're really nothing more than a someone who has a hard time letting go of obsolete technology. Disagree? The average consumer (and then some) has no use for CRT's any longer, and I'll never purchase another bulky CRT.

Actually, I move every year or two, and one of the last things I want is a fucking >50lb CRT. Further, weight was the second of the two items I listed. Why someone wants to dedicate 4 times the deskspace is beyond me, but I'm no sensory elitist.

I'd hate to be the coroner that had to count all the stab wounds. "1...2...3...4... ...34... shit, gotta start all over again...1...2..."
