Can't even say I'm surprised. That's Ubi for you.
I WILL be surprised if Ubi decides to fix this travesty by finally admitting how stupid UPlay is and decide to drop it. Since I doubt they have enough brain to do that, me & friends will continue not buying their games and, it seems, being more secure thanks to that.

I completely agree with you there. A sequel is supposed to be financed by the original. If you need a kickstarter to make a sequel it tells me either the original didn't sell well enough to merit a sequel, or your sloppy with money/sales of the original and don't deserve to be kickstarted.
They were very clear on what they want the money for and how they're going to use whatever they get.

PAID dedicated servers aren't true dedicated servers. If there are no public server files released and you have to pay to get a shitty server, please don't call them "dedicated servers". It's not the same.
TF2 has dedicated servers.
CoD4 has dedicated servers.
BF3 DOESN'T have dedicated servers.
CoD:BO DOESN'T have dedicated servers, and I will be surprised if CoD:BO2 has them. |

Yep, it seems like Replay jumped the game (and also that internal communication is not a strong point there).
However, the Wisecrack is totally misleading, making it look like Al Lowe is the one making the game right now, instead of them using his old design with his permission. That doesn't exactly endear them to me, even if they had to go through false accusations. |

Nope. They released those two packs at the same time they did the GotY edition, only full price, which is the reason I didn't buy them then.
I was waiting for a complete definitive edition, but I guess everything at 75% is good enough.

Yes, the problem is Nadeo does great games, but in the business side they're a bit... lacking.
They used to put StarForce in the old Trackmanias, and insult those customers that complained about it. And then they went and sold themselves to Ubi. With that team, it's a miracle the games got done at all. |
