So, if I understand it correctly, if you don't login to Bnet for 30 days, you have to re-enter your CD key?

Nope, just login again into faceb.. B.net 2.0

This is getting ridiculous.

I love how he casually throws SupCom2 in with SC2. Chris, sorry buddy, but they're really not very similar in quality. SC2 is a kick-ass PC game. SupCom2 is a consolized, dumbed down, shitty sequel that was in no way worthy of the Supcom name.

And SupCom, in turn, was no worthy of being named TA's spiritual successor. And Demigod wasn't worthy of being called a full game. That's Taylor for you these days.

I wouldn't call SC2 kick-ass, though. Just a revamping of the old SC, adding a unit here and there, a face polish and removing some of the most important features to lock people to B.Net 2.0

Anyway, opinions are like asses: everyone has one.

What?. Wing Commander wasn't working on W7?.

Now I finally have no doubt. Nobody at Microsoft has a tiny bit of heart.

Definitely keeping XP then.

That would be "Old Left 4 Dead 2 Mutation"

What's this?. Third week in a row repeating old mutations?. They must be really crunching The Sacrifice.

Pachter only has two registers. He only says things that are either completely obvious or completely wrong.

What I fail to understand is why every website keeps publishing whatever he parrots. Why, Blue, why?.

News Comments > Runic: Torchlight 3 Before Diablo III
4. Re: Runic: Torchlight 3 before Diablo III Aug 24, 2010, 20:43 Paketep

After all the features cut in SC2, a lot of people are saying "What the hell happened to Blizzard?" (the answer is easy: Acti and Kotick). Yeah, a lot of people also bought it and defended the feature cuts just because they don't use them (great gamer solidarity, thank you SO much).

I have no interest in D3 anymore. Thank god Torchlight 2 is there to... hmmm... take the torch.

Obvious pun is obvious pathethic.

this is a smart move on UBI's part

A smart move would be to drop the UbiShit DRM.

This was more or less forced on them, since it's a niche game and half the comments I've read about it the last 6 months have been to the music of "looks great, I'd buy it if it wasn't for that POS protection".

Now, that's sad. I thought that there wasn't that big of a stretch between developing for Mac and developing for Linux (using Open GL, of course).

Still, it's not as sad as this.

Regarding "Valve time", I think part of the problem is Valve has spread itself too thin. What do they have on the burners now?

1. Half-Life 3
[snip]
6. Half-Life 2 Ep 3(?)

and then updates and DLC for L4D(?), L4D2, TF2, etc, etc. Plus any new properties they might be researching that haven't been announced. Plus all the spit and polish.

And of course, missing there are the updates for DoD:S that have been done for almost two years but that nobody at Valve apparently has the 4 hours needed to release them.

It's not for L4D2, Blue. This is the L4D(1) DLC that was expected in April/May, supposedly a month (hah!) after the release of The Passing.

Yeah, I'm a bit tired of Valve Time.

Good, good. Now, confirm mapping and LAN and I'll probably buy it despite the fact that the game is being published by the biggest douchebags in the industry.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

OMFG, killing Ensemble wasn't enough, you had to turn AOE into a god damned MMO, and on top of that with GFWL?.

Buh bye, Project Spartan. I had high hopes for you despite Microsoft rearing their ugly heads as publisher. Buh bye, AOE4.

Oh, and FUCK YOU, Microsoft.

Yep, they are becoming increasingly rare because studios are becoming increasingly stupid.

Thanks, KAOS. That certainly makes a lot of good will.

I'm just glad they are finally giving some much needed attention to TF2 instead of wasting all those resources on L4D and DoD:S

I LOL'd. Then I cried

Then I remembered this and cried even more: 'Left 4 Dead' Details: Flamethrower Included

According to the report, the DLC content in Left 4 Dead will be "rolling much more quickly" than in the FPS hit Team Fortress 2.

Faliszek explained that DLC plans for Left 4 Dead include more campaign missions, levels, enemies and to the delight of the zombie pyros, a flamethrower will be added "not long after launch".

Wow. How could I miss that?

wish they would put equal effort into dod source.....css is 80% headshots, very annoying.

+100

They won't even release a set of map fixes that has been done for a year and a half

DoD:S is a much much better game than old CS:S. Sadly CS and CS:S are the ones that are more played, only topped by the even worse MW2.

None of these ports were especially awesome given their delays.

In fact, some are rather awful (GoW in particular has almost more BSoDs than gameplay)

Jerykk wrote on Aug 2, 2010, 23:54:
I think it's safe to assume that MS wants everyone to buy the 360 version of Fable 3 first, then the PC version when it's released a year(s) later. I'm pretty surprised that they're even making a PC version.

Perhaps someone lost a bet.

What is sure is that, as always, they're doing their best not to sell on PC, be it intentionally or out of ineptitude (there's A TON of that at Microsoft).

The PCGA should be renamed the PCGFA. Much more appropriate.
