I'm guessing his return to gaming is more to do with the advent of Kickstarter that a sudden leap in gaming platform technology.
I'm really glad to see him back though and really looking forward to seeing what comes of this. |

Absolutely, Return to the Haunted Cathedral in Thief Gold and The Cradle in Thief 3 were two of the scariest levels in the history of gaming.
The only thing I didn't like about the supernatural elements of the series were the zombies in the first game, that aside it's all good and an integral part of the thief universe.
I'm not going to look at the storyboards, I don't want the spoilers but its great to hear that at least some kind of news about the game as it's all been a bit quiet lately. |

The game is incredible, it runs really well on my four year old system (with a new graphics card though).
I hope by fixing quick match functionality they will stop it dropping me into Rush games on mixed mode servers when I have the filter set to Conquest only, they really need an option to filter out mixed servers if possible. |

I didn't like the web based server browser because it just didn't work very well for me, I couldn't use any of the filters for a start, if I checked a box it would immediately un-check itself.
You have to wonder why game makers just can't seem to get server browsers right by now, games made in the late 90's like UT had much better browsers than most games get nowadays! |

Steam seems to be downloading the entire game again rather than just a patch!
Nice work on supporting an old game though, I would recommend Psychonauts to anyone who has never played it before. |

Treyarch really need to concentrate on quality this time around, Black Ops was a mess on release and for a good while afterwards.
Not that I'll be going anywhere near one of their games again after my experience with Blops. |

| I nearly picked this up in the Steam sale last year but I was put off by the harsh DRM, nice to see that they removed it. I may pick this up now, anybody had any experience with the yuPlay client that is also required? |

Yeah! That'll show those damn publishers! Err... wait... no it won't. All it'll do is reduce sales of the PC version and increase sales of a console version.
If you're going to boycott games that use GFWL, you need to boycott it on ALL platforms. Buying it for another platform doesn't accomplish anything because the publisher is still getting your money.
I also bought this on the PS3 for the same reason (along with FO3 & GTA 4) but it was nothing to do with boycotting or making a statement, I simply wanted to play the game legitimately without having to put up with the GFWL crap. |

I loved this game, it was definitely my favourite release from 2010.
I actually feel guilty for paying next to nothing for it in the Steam winter sale, I even got more of a discount for owning the (also superb) Penumbra series.
My only criticism is the weakness of some of the possible endings to the game, I did three of the four and only one really felt satisfying.
It's nice to see that they released the level editor too so I'm looking forward to playing some content from the community when I can put my shredded nerves back together after finishing it. |
