I've been playing F3 on and off for a month or two. I'm a long standing fan of CRPGs (Ultima VI PC was my first). I think this is a pretty strong game... I've never really experienced any quest stopping bugs or crashes. I guess my point in posting is to contrast some of the really extremely harsh reviews of this game. It's definitely an interesting game.
If I had my way, I'd add more to the bestiary. Fighting mutants contstantly gets a bit old. The dark beiges and greens also got tiresome--I would add to the color palette. Sometimes the characters feel pretty wooden, but that's to be expected when you play these increasingly vast photo-realistic games. If you see something that looks very real, it's a shock to be reminded that it's not even close (i.e. awkward dialogue). Overall though, I am enjoying this game. I can see why it would get a 9/10 rating, though I'd give it a 7, maybe an 8.
