give me a call up here in Canada. Then we'll come knocking on your door and finally make Canada the proper 51st state it was always meant to be.

Yes, but the delisting occured over in Europe, where I doubt it would have much an effect on their operations in the US. And besides, they're becoming eveloped within the EA umbrella, they're hardly being "dismantled".

I found that line particularly amusing, as it implies that there are yet to be any games that offer deep gameplay. On the internet though? There aren't very many with WoW being perhaps the closest thing available. Well, any fantasy MMO I guess. It's got a long ways to go yet.

All opinions are supposed to be formed on logic? Yeah, having information to back up your oppinion is indeed a good thing.
How does this work? You find something that gets your interest, investigate, form an oppinion.
Once something is formulated using purely logical means, does it not transcend the boundary between "opinion" and "fact"? Once "what" is formulated? Your oppinion is yours and yours alone to make. Something can be factual and you base your oppinion off that. It's not that hard.
How does one then form opinions on art? See something you like, make an oppinion on it. No, the real fun thing would be to convince someone that there is indeed parameters in place for determining good art (whatever that may be), instead of the relativistic mumbo jumbo people like to crap around. "Oh, but it's just my oppinion!" Yeah, and your oppinion sucks.
Oh wait, this is the Internet, that's how it works... And the academic world, real life, research, etc.

Downloading killed the CD. Why would it be different for DVD, Blu-ray and HD DVD? Wha? Last time I looked you can still go into your local Walmart and buy them.

Easy, let the military have at it for awhile. Let them establish their bases or whatever they need get the platforms for research going. Hell, just about anything worthwhile in research has stemmed from America's military complex anywho.

With it debuting on the PC, at least we'll be spared another lame console RPG port. What are you talking about? the last action/rpg game released on the PC was Titan's Quest and that was no console port.

The Wii is just a re-boxed Gamecube so no suprise. A reboxed GameCube that's actually affordable and with games that don't cost your soul or first born.

That thing looks like the result of a night of messing with LSD, mushrooms, Photoshop, and misc. clipart programs.

Nintendo hired Sony to make a CD drive for the N64 Not for the N64 and Nintendo's relationship with Sony went back farther than N64's era. Sony was supposed to produce a CDROM addon for the 8-bit NES and then it was going to be a completely new console that played both cartridges and CD's. That rather fell through. You can find pictures of these protype systems, they look like a SNES with an optical drive.
