Mercury Games were even cheekier - they used Starforce on Crazy Frog Racer (when they were called Digital Jesters - they are the same people: [redacted]) but the old (insolvent) Digital Jesters did not pay Starforce for months and months. So, free use of Copy Protection, annoy customers (even more than the game did) and save MONEY! [redacted]
And we wonder why publishers have a bad rep. Sheesh.

and now, in the UK
Monkeybread Limited Mercury Games Limited (where the website was registered in the personal name of your ex-landlord. not a very good way of pretending not to control something, eh?)
And in Hong Kong
iTAG GLOBAL LIMITED MERCURY GAMES LIMITED DIGITAL JESTERS LIMITED
... all the same people, dudes, all the same same people.

It all seems a bit amateur and rushed and incomplete.
As far as anyone from outside can tell, it is only a new name, the management, staff and controlling minds [redacted] are still the same as yesterday.
If you read it carefully it does not appear to say what the company name actually is, where the money is coming from, when the money will come, or who (if anyone) will get paid.
There is no current publicly searchable company called Myriad Interactive in the USA, except one tiny animation company. There is no news on that companies site www.myriadinteractive.com about DJ at the time of posting.
There does not appear to be a listing for "DJ Group" as a company name in the UK at present.
There is - however - a company in England; MYRIAD INTERACTIVE LIMITED C/O NOESIS [redacted]
I guess we will all wait to see if this turns out to be a good thing or not.
