Typical UBI. Not shocked at all. The corporation has absolutely no morals.

Why bother? Gamers won't be using Windblows7. We don't like the downgrade.

So what they really are saying is that they had such little faith in their game they gave it away.

Part of me would love to see this software giant fail. Rather than seeing massive corporations making main stream (buggy) crap I would rather see smaller studios making more innovative games. Ah, the old days.

18. Re: No AC2 Demo Nov 1, 2009, 21:52 Donkey_Punch

It takes a lot of effort to pack so many bugs into a demo. They need the full version to properly show the amount of bugs UBI can release in a game.

We get it Creston. You are a rich kid that can always afford to upgrade. Your dick is probably bigger too.

It's true, Dragon Rising feels just like an arcadey original Ghost Recon.

Says the Arma fanboy.

25. Re: OFP: Dragon Rising DLC & Patch Soon Oct 22, 2009, 22:44 Donkey_Punch

It's funny how people are clueless.

Yes, it is funny how clueless people would buy a product from a company that abandoned its last game. They left it bug ridden and unfinished. Good luck with getting patches on Arma 2. Enjoy the 3 year beta test.

I don't care about a pretty desktop or fancy icons. I want an OS that doesn't needlessly suck up resources like Vista or Windows 7. Sorry, sticking to XP.

Of course the government knows what is best for the people. What could possibly go wrong when you have a large group of people who choose a job to get power and the opportunity to make easy money from corrupt businessmen.

When you are trolling BluesNews, try to be a little more discreet. Your cartoon-like troll behavior is too easily dismissed as angry teenage typing.

Your behaviour is too easily dismissed as teenage fanboyism. Here is a quote from you:

There is no better MilSim than Arma2.

You should be a little more discrete with your agenda

11. Re: Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising Gold, Demo Delay Sep 24, 2009, 15:12 Donkey_Punch

Reasonable or great performance
Easier user interface
A different setting
Different weapons
Different vehicles
Perhaps better AI or squad AI

You forgot:
- Stable coding that isn't filled with bugs
- Patches released in a timely fashion (instead of taking 3 years to fix basic problems)
- Not leaving the game bug ridden and abandoned when they move onto the sequel in a desperate attempt to raise money and keep the company alive.
- Not hiring chimps wearing boxing gloves to code the game

They needed to delay so they could add more bugs. UBI has a reputation to maintain after all.

4. Re: Sunday Consolidation Sep 20, 2009, 21:58 Donkey_Punch

Anyone read that "Activision Production Road Brochure ~ 2009". It is all about outsourcing jobs to avoid having to pay frivolous things such a health benefits to workers.

I am so tired of scumbag corporations that will do anything to increase profits.

Wealthy North Americans are too dim and short sighted to see how the shrinking middle class will destroy their way of life too.

it sounds like an undistinguished movie-tie-in game for kids.

When I wrote that I got it for my kids that should have been a pretty important clue.

Besides, I didn't really download it because as everyone knows piracy doesn't exist on consoles (only on PCs)
