Their forums got hacked (a wordpress addon had a security hole) and they had a problem with redirects. All has been fixed since last week. Google needs to update their info.
Xenonauts so far has been funded by donations (somewhat like Kickstarter). I believe they have over 3000+ supporters. |

I am sure it will be enjoyable but it won't be what we really want...a HD update to the original X-com (with bug fixes).
If you want a real authentic feeling remake then check out http://www.xenonauts.com . It is still in alpha and they are going to do a Kickstarter for more funding. |

Update: After reading the comments I came across info for an indie game called Xenonauts. Didn't know about it until now. What do other people think of Xenonauts? I am really tempted to spend the $20 and invest in the game but now that Firaxis has entered the arena will this kill the little guys like Xenonauts? Will it get finished?

I don't care how good the game is. The EA logo on it means I won't buy it.
I don't agree with how they have been closing multiplayer servers on games that are so new.
