Yes, BIS will support their games for a long time but it takes them a painfully long time to release each patch.
Most of their patches create more bugs than they fix.
After Arma1 I refuse to give them any more of my money. |

I first found out about Xenonauts several months back in the comments of Blue's News. I was impressed with their progress and dedication to making this game.
Today I donated to their Kickstarter fund and it is going really well.

Until they figure out how to prevent an enemy AI from seeing and killing you with an AK47 from miles away the game will always be for a niche market only.
I am tired of dying from some enemy AI that shoots with super-human precision when I still can't even see him. |

I agree, this one felt like a scam. For the first two - three weeks Christian Allen put ZERO effort into the Kickstarter. A few stolen graphics, no game title, lame video and updates.
Every time someone raised a criticism Christian Allen would bend to public opinion.
No clear vision.
I wonder what the $200,000 will be spent on? Trying to wine and dine investors? It barely even pays for an engine license. |

This project had failure all over it from the beginning. This Christian Allen guy put absolutely no effort into gaining backer's trust until the very end. Too little too late.
The guy has absolutely zero sense about marketing. His resume may be good but he made a lot of stupid choices for this Kickstarter.
He isn't the right guy to make this game. IMHO he isn't smart enough. |

His website is almost empty, he has no game title, no ideas. He keeps mentioning "his team" but so far it looks like it is just him (note how the blooper reel to his second video makes it look like he is alone and is operating the camera himself).
