| This movie-goer is sick of pointless 3D a la the Clash of the Titans remake. Avatar, on the other hand, was a fantastic 3D experience. |

Games are getting shorter, but not cheaper.
Western RPGs are doing quite well, thank you very much, as Fallout 3, Oblivion, Mass Effect 1 & 2, and Dragon Age can attest. |

| I think I'll wait to see what the difference is in the released game. Even then I won't replace my 5770s with Nvidia's portable heaters. |

Here's how to "fix" PC gaming: make games for the PC first and then port them to consoles. It's much easier to "dumb down" a PC game for the console audience than it will ever be to "smart up" a console game for the PC audience.
Once upon a time, there were companies that did nothing but port PC games to consoles. These companies were very familiar with the needs of console gamers and well-versed in the myriad details involved in porting PC games to a different platform. Those companies seem to have vanished or have been bought up by EA and then disbanded, because EA is run by a clueless fuck. |

Or Bungie's new IP could not be bigger than Halo...
The only thing wrong is people keep printing what Pachter says. |

| When a company doesn't tout a profit that means it lost money. EA can talk about all sorts of things, but they can't talk about being profitable. |

| Rupert Murdoch getting into games would be the beginning of the end of gaming on any platform. |

| Ubi's execs just plain don't get it. As a result, they are going to sell fewer copies of their titles on the PC, which will somehow be twisted as a confirmation that the PC is dying as a gaming platform. |

| "Much anticipated launch of OnLive"? Other than the poor saps that were conned into throwing money at it, who else cares if this ever launches? |
