| I tried Redbox Instant during the beta. It was okay, but the selection was severely lacking, especially for streaming. The DVD credits were nice, but I stream content so I don't have to deal with discs. The four credits were enough to let me know that getting and returning DVDs is far more trouble than I want to go to, especially with the nearest Redbox kiosk being 12 miles away. |

| What a shock, a Microsoft-commissioned study shows that software piracy is out of control and costing them a fortune. They use the same type vastly over-inflated numbers to make their case, numbers which are only believed by elected officials who then come up with crap like the DMCA and punish consumers even further for having the audacity to purchase software legally. |

| This isn't new at all. EA has been all-in on microtransactions since they started selling stadiums and uniforms for Madden years ago. If people hadn't been stupid enough to eat that shit up back then, the DLC explosion of crapware would never have taken off. |

A day we never thought would come was hoist upon us without notice... Don't they read Blue's News or visit GOG.com? |

Why did she choose to do this at a bowling alley? |

| Probably means that the things that were cut, if fully fleshed-out and fixed, could be stretched into five or six full games if published by someone like EA. |

Bill Gates 'not satisfied' with Microsoft's innovations. Funny, neither is anyone else. I don't know if that's funny, but it is true, especially with Windows 8. |

| Best Buy's price-matching will only kill showrooming when their in-store selection is equal to the Internet's and they do the price matching automatically, not only when asked. |

| Every time I see an article on games being 'lost' on XBLA it's always based on comments from a developer whose game isn't selling very well. Maybe it's the game and not XBLA. |

| Typical Fox News tactic; when the facts don't back the story you want to present, try to get an 'expert' to see things your way. |

ItBurn wrote on Jan 9, 2013, 09:22: I'd definitely use this kind of technology if games supported it and it didn't cost too much. It would massively help immersion. It needs to blend many smells at a time though. There are a lot of smells I do not want or need in my gaming experience. The smells associated with violent death are chief among these. I like immersion, but I don't want to have a barf bag be part of my gaming setup. |
