I was going to make some witty comment regarding the ridiculous spin put out by their marketing department, but upon reading the existing comments, I realize that I don't have to, since they've already covered about everything I had to express anyway.
So to that end I say : WTF ubi? Fucking morons.

I can't stand the rubbery/laggy feel of the guns, esp. the SMG. The game should have been balanced more like America's Army or BF2 with respect to the guns, instead of like HALO or something. As it sits the gun feel ruins the gameplay for me completely.
The movement is kinda clunky too. I dunno, just feels weird. The rest of it is great.

again, just because all these MMOs are huge flops doesn't mean that the MMO format is flawed. It's just that the content is complete crap.
Imagine a game that combined the best aspects of an RTS, a FPS, a RPG and was MMO at the same time, all set in a compelling environment (realistic, yet futuristic, similar to Killzone or Halo 2, or cross BF2 with America's Army with Ghost Recon 3 with Planetside/Halo 2).
Make a game with a realistic/futuristic FPS with large scale RTS elements for the 'commander' types, and add in rank/equipment earning through XP (similar to Planetside) for the RPG elements.
Planetside is a good game as far as it's overall ideas. It's the execution that's complete shit.

I've been playing PS since day one. PS is circling the drain. The in-game ads are going to make a large group of veteran players, including me, quit in droves.
Back to this new MMO RTS: RTS's set in a fantasy world (save a few exceptions like LOTR etc.) really annoy me. Furthermore this one in particular looks like junk.
All of it'd design elements are cliche', the character animation looks completely amature hour (I should know, I'm in game design school at the moment), etc. etc. etc.
In a nutshell, it looks like crap. IMO MMO is the future, the only problem is that no one is truely grasping it's capabilities and exploiting them properly. Anyway, I'll quit before this turns into a three page post.
